Introduction/Introducción
One of the most complicated elements once you have already bought the spell book in Splinterlands and decide to buy your first cards to start with Which deck should I start? Which class has the best chances to start? Well, in this context the purpose of these lines is to act as a guide that allows you to take the first steps in terms of the first cards you need to master the dynamics of this game.

Bien, en este contexto el propósito de estas líneas es hacer de guía que te permita dar los primeros pasos en cuanto a las primeras cartas que necesitas para dominar las dinámicas de este juego.
The first thing is to understand that there are currently 2 game formats: Wild, which consists of ranking using cards from all the editions that have appeared so far (Alpha, Beta, Untamed, Dice, Chaos Legion, Riftwatchers and Rebellion) and Modern, which Includes only the Chaos Legion/Riftwatchers/Rebellion editions. Of these 2 formats, it is best to start with the modern format since it only includes 2 collections and therefore the investment in cards is lower and the rewards are higher.
Lo primero es entender que existen 2 formatos de juego actualmente: Wild, que consiste en rankear usando las cartas de todas las ediciones que han aparecido hasta ahora (Alfa, Beta, Untamed, Dice, Chaos Legion, Riftwatchers y Rebellion) y Moderno, que Incluye solo las ediciones Chaos Legion/Riftwatchers/Rebellion. De estos 2 formatos lo más recomendable es comenzar por el formato moderno ya que solo incluye 2 colecciones y por tanto la inversión en cartas es menor además que las recompensas son más altas.
There are 6 classes: Fire, Water, Earth, Life, Death and Dragon, the latter has the ability to combine with any of the other five elements. Por último existe la clase neutra que nos permite complementar nuestra alineación si utilizamos una clase de las 6 en específico. Surge la pregunta entonces, con que clase debo comenzar?
I have previously made several posts highlighting how robust and competent the water class has been in the Chaos Legion edition and how this trend tends to be repeated in this new edition. In this sense, for the purposes of this guide, I have an account that I bought a long time ago but that I have left neglected and it is practically at zero except for a couple of rewards cards from the last edition. We will start from this account at virtually zero to make a budget that will help us. Allows you to build a Water class deck made up almost exclusively of common and rare cards.
Anteriormente he realizado varios posts destacando lo robusto y competente que ha sido la clase agua en la edición Chaos Legión y como esta tendencia tiende a repetirse en esta nueva edición. En este sentido para los efectos de esta guía tengo una cuenta que compre hace mucho tiempo pero que he dejado descuidada y esta prácticamente en cero salvo un par de tarjetas rewards de la pasada edición partiremos desde esta cuenta virtualmente en cero para hacer un presupuesto que nos permita armar un mazo de la clase de agua con formada casi exclusivamente con cartas comunes y raras.
Presupuesto inicial para comenzar con la clase agua/Initial budget to start with the water class
Cards/Tarjetas
I bought most of the cards you see above on the market, almost all of them are from the Chaos Legion edition and this is important because they are currently the cheapest cards on the market. As of today, the price of all these cards, the water class + the neutral ones, was $3.6, including the only card from the Rebellion edition: the pink Prophet summoner. With this fairly tight budget I will show you how efficient it is to start in the rookie and bronze leagues.
La mayoria de las cartas que ves arriba las compre en el mercado casi todfas ellas son de la edición Chaos Legión y esto es importante porque actualmente son las cartas más económicas del mercado. Al día de hoy el precio de todas estas cartas la clase agua +las neutras fue de 3,6$ incluyendo la única carta de la edición Rebellion: el invocador Prophet rosa. Con este presupuesto bastante ajustado te mostraré cuan eficiente es comenzar en las ligas de novato y bronce.
1st Battle with Kelya frendul/1era Batalla con Kelya frendul
Kelya frendul was the most expensive rare card in the CL edition at the time, it was below $3.2 so taking it to silver or gold league levels meant a real investment, currently it is very accessible to start playing in ranking, we will use her as our first summoner.
Kelya frendul era la carta rara más costosa de la edición CL en su momento, bo bajaba de los 3,2$ por lo que llevarla a niveles de liga de plata u oro significaba una verdadera inversión, actualmente esta muy accesible para comenzar a jugar en el ranking, la usaremos como nuestro primer invocador.
Our vanguard consisted of the Diemonshark tank + Flying squid, these 2 cards, like Kelya, were one of the most expensive but they are already at a more than affordable price and finally we have another important piece of the water class: Deeplurker, a powerful opportunist that we will place in 3rd position and last to Kulu Swimhuntwer.
Nuestra vanguardia consistió en el tanque Diemonshark + Flying squid estas 2 cartas al igual que Kelya eran de las más costosas pero ya están a un precio más que accesible y por último tenemos otra pieza importante de la clase agua: Deeplurker un potente oportunista que ubicaremos en la 3ra posición y de último al Kulu Swimhuntwer.

The large amount of defense and life that these cards have allows us to deal with the spines of the Cursed windeku and defeat it along with its support card in the second position and thus break the enemy lineup to obtain victory.

2nd Battle using Prophet rosa/2da Batalla usando a Prophet rosa.
Pink Prophet is a rare summoner from the new Rebellion edition, this particular summoner has the property of imbuing 1 monster with the shield ability in a defensive strategy or increasing 2 monsters' range damage by +2. In this first battle we used the defensive strategy using the Djinn Oshannus as a tank.
Prophet rosa es un invocador raro de la nueva edición Rebellion, este invocador en particular tiene la propiedad de imbuir 1 monstruo con la habilidad shield en una estrategia defensiva o incrementar a 2 monstruos su daño rango en +2. Djinn Oshannus
Djinn Oshannus is the only legendary water monster that you will currently get for less than $1. It is a unique opportunity to get a unit with magic resistance, high speed and a large amount of life. For this battle we will use him as a tank by assigning him the shield ability.
Djinn Oshannus es el único monstruo legendario de agua que vas a conseguir actualmente en menos de 1$ es una oportunidad única para hacerte con una unidad con resistencia a la magia, alta velocidad y gran cantidad de vida. Para esta batalla lo usaremos como tanque asignándole la habilidad shield.
The support for Oshannus will be tide biter, this is an epic reward card that I use very frequently and I recommend as much as possible to level up for higher leagues such as silver, it has the reach ability that allows it to attack from second position. Then we have Venari wavesmith, a rare reward card that gives +2 defense to all friendly units and has magic attack. And finally we have Merdali guardian, a healing card that will keep our tank alive in the first position.
El apoyo para Oshannus será tide biter, esta es una carta épica reward que uso con mucha frecuencia y recomiendo en la medida de lo posible subir de nivel para ligas superiores como plata, tiene la habilidad reach que le permite atacar desde la segunda posición. Luego tenemos a Venari wavesmith una carta rara reward que confiere +2 de defensa a todas las unidades aliadas y tiene ataque mágico. 3rd battle: An offensive strategy with Prophet Rosa/ 3ra batalla: Una estrategia ofensiva con Prophet Rosa.
In this last battle we used the variation of Prophet Rosa towards an offensive strategy by assigning 2 units with ranged attack an increase in their damage by +2. We will keep Oshanuss as a tank and support him with Merdali guardian.

We will complement our lineup with 2 widely used neutral cards: Supply runner, a range card with good average damage and speed, and Agent of chaos in case our opponent uses a card with the opportunity or sneak ability. Currently their value in the market is really low, my recommendation is to purchase them in their regular version because although the bonus reward they give when using golden cards is attractive, the truth is that they become a complicated issue from the point of view of budgets at the moment. to upgrade them in higher leagues.
Complementaremos nuestra alineación con 2 cartas neutras muy utilizadas: Supply runner una carta rango con buen daño promedio y velocidad y Agent of chaos en el caso de que nuestro oponente utilice alguna carta con la habilidad opportunity o sneak. Actualmente su valor en el mercado están realmente bajos, mi recomendación es adquirirlas en su versión regular porque si bien es atractivo el bonus de recompensa que dan al usar cartas doradas lo cierto es se vuelven un tema complicado desde el punto de vista de presupuestos al momento de upgradearlas en ligas superiores.

The strategy in this battle consisted of increasing the damage of Kulu and Supply runner by +2 so they now do a range damage of 4 which helped us dispatch the tank and its support while our Oshannus withstood the attacks. The only flaw I see in this lineup is the lack of speed so take this detail into account when planning your strategy.
La estrategia en esta batalla consistió en incrementar en +2 el daño de Kulu y Supply runner por lo que ahora hacen un daño rango de 4 que nos ayudó a despachar el tanque y su apoyo mientras nuestro Oshannus soportaba los ataques. El único fallo que veo en esta alineación es la falta de velocidad así que tenga en cuenta este detalle a la hora de plantear su estrategia.
Conclusiones
With just a very modest budget we managed to put together a fairly competent deck and it is only the beginning, starting with the bronze league we will begin to earn sps and reward chests that can bring us reward cards, including new summoners. The next step would be to aim for the epic cards, they are a little more expensive but little by little they can be obtained to strengthen our deck. The recommended investment is in the CL edition, it is currently the cheapest to play in modern, I would advise waiting a little more time with the Rebellion edition since being an edition that has just been released, the FOMO keeps the cards at very high prices and It is best to wait for prices to drop.
Con apenas un presupuesto muy modesto logramos armar un mazo bastante competente y solo es el comienzo, a partir de la liga de bronce comenzaremos a ganar sps y cofres de recompensas que pueden traernos cartas rewards incluso nuevos invocadores. El siguiente paso sería apuntar hacia las cartas épicas, son un poco más costosas pero poco a poco se pueden ir obteniendo para fortalecer nuestro mazo. La inversión recomendable es en la edición CL es la más económica actualmente para jugar en moderno, yo aconsejaría esperar un poco más de tiempo con la edición Rebellion ya que siendo una edición que acaba de salir el FOMO esta mantiene las cartas a precios muy elevados y lo mejor es esperar a que los precios bajen.
