Greetings Splinterlands community, I welcome you to this Social media challenge where we are going to explore a skill that allows us to build very interesting strategies, I am referring to the weapons training skill. Let's get started!

⚔️ Weapons Training
This ability in short allows you to give belligerence on the battlefield to adjacent cards that do not have any attacks. This is interesting because we can have cards with combined attacks if we place cards with this ability on the sides.
Esta habilidad en resumidas palabras le permite dar beligerancia en el campo de batalla a cartas adayacentes que no tenga ningún ataque. Esto es interesante porque podemos tener cartas con ataques combinados si le ubicamos cartas con esta habilidad a los lados.
There are several units with the abilities weapons training, melee, range and magic, in this post we will evaluate the capabilities of a soulbound card that I recently upgraded and that I want to share with you and it is the card: Aves Sturgis.

A game with 31 as a mana limit we only have 2 splinters to choose from: fire and life. The rules make it a quite complicated battle, our options are reduced to even monsters, all monsters have reach which is irrelevant for this battle and all units are poisoned which adds an order of magnitude greater to the difficulty. The first thing is to choose the class and in that sense our best option is the life class, we are now going to explain the alignment that we will propose for this combat.
Una partida con 31 como límite de mana tenemos sólo 2 splinter a escoger: fuego y vida. Las reglas la hacen una batalla bastante complicada nuestras opciones se reducen a monstruos pares, todos los monstruos tienen reach que es irrelevante para esta batalla y que todas las unidades se encuentran envenenadas lo que agrega un orden de magnitud mayor a la dificultad. Lo primero es escoger la clase y en ese sentido nuestra mejor opción es la clase vida, vamos a explicar ahora la alineación que propondremos para este combate.

🧙♂️Summoner/Invocador: General Sloan
I don't have many life class summoners so our best option for mana cost is Gral Sloan because of its low mana cost and also because we have the full gold league, but its +1 range damage modifier doesn't. we can take advantage.
No cuento con muchos invocadores de la clase vida asi que nuestra mejor opción por el coste de mana es Gral Sloan por su bajo coste mana y además porque tenemos a tope de la liga de oro, pero su modificador de +1 al daño rango no lo podremos aprovechar.
👾 Monsters/Monstruos: Kralus
He will be our main tank, he has a combined attack of magic and melee, but more importantly, he is immune to poison and can regenerate, so he will be our first line of attack and defense at the same time.
Será nuestro tanque principal tiene ataque cominado de magia y melé pero más importante es que es inmune al veneno y puede regenerarse asi que será nuestra primera linea de ataque y defensa al mismo tiempo.
👾 Pelacor Conjurer
Due to the low mana limit of this battle we need monsters with low mana cost but a large amount of life and Pelacor Conjurer is our best option, with only 2 mana, great speed and the possibility of flying this monster has a high evasion rate.
Flyer, Magic Reflect & Divine Shield
Por el bajo limite de mana de esta batalla necesitamos monstruos con bajo coste de mana pero gran cantidad de vida y Pelacor Conjurer es nuestra mejor opción, con solo 2 de mana, gran velocidad y la posibilidad de volar este monstruo tiene una alta tasa de evasión.

The key card of our lineup, with its weapons training ability this card can confer its attack to cards that do not have any type of attack, this thus gives belligerence in battle to our Pelacor conjurer and to our card that we are going to proceed to explain.

Our card in 4th position is Gelatinous Cube, a strategic card for this battle, since it can heal itself and also has the scavenger ability, which means that with each death its maximum life can increase significantly and as a consequence, when healed with its ability it can significantly increase life points. By having the card Aves sturgis it acquires magic damage so it can go from a passive configuration to an offensive one.
Nuestra carta en la 4ta posición es Gelatinous Cube una carta estratégica para esta batalla, ya que puede sanarse a si misma y además tiene la habilidad carroñero lo que significa que con cada muerte su vida máxima puede aumentar significativamente y como consecuencia al sanarse con su habilidad puede aumentar significativamente los puntos de vida. Al tener la carta Aves sturgis adquiere daño mágico así que puede pasar de una configuración pasiva a una ofensiva.
👾 Souyl Fiernd & Firous Chicken
These 2 cards have the exceptionality of having a mana cost of 0. We generally place them in the last position to protect the rear, but for this battle their function will be to sacrifice themselves to increase the maximum life of the Gelatinous Cube.
Estas 2 cartas tienen la excepcionalidad de tener un coste de mana 0 por lo general la ubicamos en la última posición para proteger la retaguardia, pero para esta batalla su función será sacrificarse para aumentar la vida máxima del Gelatinous Cube.
⚔️Strategy and battle lineup/Estrategia y alineación de batalla
Once our lineup is prepared, we send the battle and see that our opponent also chose the life class, his lineup is highly offensive but with a very low amount of life, this could be a mistake since these battles with poison are mainly of endurance.
Una vez nuestra alineación esta preparada, enviamos la batalla y vemos que nuestro oponente también escogió la clase vida, su alineación es altamente ofensiva pero con muy baja cantidad de vida, esto podría ser un error ya que estas batallas con veneno son principalmente de resistencia.

💥Round 1💥
In the first round our Kralus receives the full weight of the enemy attack, being quickly eliminated while we barely manage to damage his tank. At the end of this round our 0 mana cards are sacrificed, increasing the maximum amount of life in the Gelatinous Cube.
En el primer round nuestro Kralus recibe todo el peso del ataque enemigo siendo eliminado rápidamente mientras nosotros apenas logramos hacerle daño a su tanque, al terminar este round se sacrifican nuestras cartas de mana 0 aumentando la cantidad de vida máxima en el Gelatinous Cube.
💥Round 2💥
In the second round almost all of our units were unceremoniously eliminated, it seems to be our end, however silently our Gelatinous Cube has been increasing its maximum life to the point of healing 5 life points per turn, while our opponent will no longer be able to count on the last 3 units of your lineup.
En el segundo round casi todas nuestras unidades fueron eliminadas sin miramientos, parece ser nuestro fin, sin embargo silenciosamente nuestro Gelatinous Cube ha estado aumentando su vida máxima al punto de curarse 5 puntos de vida por turno, mientras que nuestro oponente ya no podrá contar con las 3 últimas unidades de su alineación.
💥Rounds 3 & 4💥
In the third round we only have Gelatinous Cube, which can now heal 7 life points, it does not matter if our opponent hits all of his attacks, they will never be able to take away enough life to eliminate him. In the 4th round our opponent is left without his healing Venari while our Cube continues increasing maximum health and weakening the tank with its magic attack.
En el tercer round solo contamos con Gelatinous Cube que ahora puede sanarse 7 puntos de vida ya no importa si nuestro oponente acierta todos sus ataques jamás podrán quitarle vida suficiente para eliminarlo. En el 4to round nuestro oponente se queda sin su Venari sanador mientras nuestro Cubo sigue aumentando vida máxima y debilitando al tanque con su ataque mágico.
💥Rounds 5 - 8💥
From the fifth round onwards we can only contemplate the futility of the enemy attacks while one by one our Gelatinuos Cube eliminates each remaining monster of our opponent to finally claim victory.
A partir del quinto round en adelante solo podemos contemplar la inutilidad de los ataques enemigos mientras uno a uno nuestro Gelatinuos Cube elimina a cada monstruo restante de nuestro oponente para finalmente alzarse con la victoria.
🌟 Conclusions/Conclusiones
- Gelatinous Cube becomes a piece that offers a great advantage under the Noxious Fumes ruleset, however, it can sometimes be insufficient by not being able to attack and this is where the weapons training skill shines with great mastery, particularly if it is a magical attack because it allows you to attack from the first position instead of a configuration with ranged attacks.
- Gelatinous Cube se convierte en una pieza que ofrece una gran ventaja bajo la ruleset Noxious fumes sin embargo a veces puede ser insuficiente al no poder atacar y es aquí donde la habilidad weapons training brilla con gran maestría, particularmente si es un ataque mágico porque le permite atacar desde la primera posición a diferencia de una configuración con ataques rango.

Saludos bulkathos, no había visto esta carta Aves Sturgis, pense que esa habilidad estaba solo en una de las cartas rebellion que se usa mucho en batalla, no recuerdo muy bien el nombre ahora mismo, pero veo que esta en una edición anterior a rebellion, voy a revisar el mercado
Que tal danzocal! Si, esta es una carta legendaria de la clase vida y se caracteriza principalmente por esa habilidad conferirle ataque mágico a una carta adyacente que no tenga ningún tipo de ataque. Saludos.

Tremenda estrategia armada, funcionó al 100, esta habilidad es nueva para mí, nunca la había visto, estos días he visto otras que tampoco había notado, se nota que tenía semanas sin jugar.
Me queda la duda, solo le pasa el ataque a cartas que no tienen ataque o puede pasarle a cartas que ya tienen?
