OVERVIEW

Greetings Splinterlands fans, been a while since I make a battle post. In this battle post, I will share some of my strategy, tips and I will conduct a giveaway for all reader to join. I quite excited for this battle post since this strategy is over powered when being utilize to the fullest. Enjoy my battle post!

When they attacked Praetoria and the Splinterlands, it was first thought that the minions were compelled through the portal for their fear of the dark shade that lurked beyond the gate, the shadowed image of Uul. Eventually though, when the last of the armies stepped through, there came such a prodigious monster that at first, none could believe it was real. A nightmare dragged forth into reality."

STATS AND ABILITY

  • LEVEL 1
    Flying

    Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability

    Scattershot
    This monster's attacks hit a random enemy target

  • LEVEL 2
    Blast

    Does additional damage to Monsters adjacent to the target Monster

  • LEVEL 3
    Blind

    All enemy Melee & Ranged attacks have an increased chance of missing their target

RULES AND STRATEGIES

All Monsters have 2 Armor in addition to their normal Armor stat.

All Monsters have the Blast ability.

With 42 mana caps , it is easy to build a great team that able to take full advantage from the ruleset above. My first thought is to build a magic/mage team which will ignore the the Armor and will attack directly to monster health.

Delwyn Dragonscale
When renting card, I always make sure that magic summoner either from water team or dragon incase some of them being ban. For this match I pick Delwyn since it give plus 1 boost to my mage monster. The only downside renting Delwyn is that it cost 5 mana so it might not work for low mana match but since I have 42 mana to play with I am able to use this strategy.
Djinn Muirat
Muirat being choose as the primary tanks because it has Void ability which make any kind of the mage it receives will hit the armor first until the armor have been completely destroyed. So, Muirat have more health and also much more durable when facing Blast ruleset or ability.
Furious Chicken
Since the game ruleset have Blast, so I took extra precautions to make sure my secondary tank do not received any kind of damage to early in the game. So it is recommended to rent/bought Furious Chicken for various purpose and it is also very useful for low mana match.
Tortisian Chief
Since I rented the card in Gold foil so i rweceived 2 magic instead of one. Since this match already given Blast ability to all monster, so I focus more on how much magic damage I could deal that why I went for Tortisian Chief.
Magi of Chaos
Same reason as Tortisian which is Magi Chaos do not need ability for it being pick. I also have Magi in Gold foil that UI get from pack opening. Magi of Chaos dealt 2 magic damage also same as Tortisian Chief.
Spirit Hoarder
Spirit Hoarder play important role to keep the backline monster from dying to soon and also to make sure Chaos Dragon to survive as long as possible because Chaos Dragon is the biggest damage dealer in the team. On top of that, it also dealt damage to enemy so I have a healer and damage dealer from one monster.
Chaos Dragon
The star of the show which is Chaos Dragon which not only deal 4 magic damage it also have Scattershot. Blast ability and Scattershot combo is very deadly since it is very not predictable and also could override some ability such as Camouflage ability. Scattershot is an enhancer to Blast.

I won with dominance to show that my strategy work really well with the match ruleset. I am very happy with the outcome.

For me it is the perfect team for the situation/scenario.

I really like Chaos Dragon because it is a strong monster but unfortunately since it is a big mana monster I could not use it to often. But I still like it and it is one of the best big mana monster in Chaos Legion edition. That all for this battle post!
