Fue un comienzo bastante largo, quería agregar cada rama y raiz y que su cuerpo se definiera en ello, así que en una capa con una pluma Maru suave fui realizando el delineado tratando de darle el volumen a las facciones, quería al principio hacer este personaje en blanco y negro, así que recree el fondo con una pluma de árbol de tronco y también tipo hierba, y el agua que es uno de mis desafíos, la fui recreando con un pincel tipo redondo abanico que me gustó mucho el trazo que realizó. Luego en una capa con metodo de mezcla normal y con una brocha tipo Aerógrafo de partículas fui agregando un verde como base para iniciar así la etapa de color.

It was a quite long beginning, I wanted to add each branch and root and that his body was defined in it, so in a layer with a soft Maru pen I was making the outline trying to give volume to the features, I wanted at first to make this character in black and white, so I recreated the background with a tree trunk pen and also grass type, and the water that is one of my challenges, I was recreating it with a round fan brush that I really liked the stroke he made. Then in a layer with a normal mixing method and with a particle airbrush I added a green as a base to start the color stage.

Luego, fui aplicando otras tonalidades tierra y verde más oscuro y otro más claro, para así darle profundidad. Trabaje los ojos con el mismo pincel aerógrafo de partículas y en el mismo método de mezcla. Después, fui aplicando colores más claros para iluminar la parte frontal superior con el mismo pincel, y de igual forma agregué con un grosor del pincel más fino un verde oscuro para definir las grietas profundas de sus ramas y raíces. De seguido, pase al proceso de mezcla y difumino para suavizar y hacer un poco de transición con los colores. Pase a borrar el cedente fuera del delineado para definir la silueta del la cosa del pantano y después cambie a un verde muy claro el fondo.

Then, I applied other earth tones and darker green and lighter green to give it depth. I worked the eyes with the same particle airbrush and in the same blending method. Then, I applied lighter colors to illuminate the upper front part with the same brush, and in the same way I added with a thinner brush a dark green to define the deep crevices of its branches and roots. Then, I went to the blending and blurring process to soften and make a little transition with the colors. I blurred the outline outside the outline to define the silhouette of the swamp thing and then changed to a very light green background.

Con este fondo, empecé a recrear el agua con un turqueza oscuro y un verde muy claro para iluminar la procedencia de la luz. Y para esto utilice el mismo pincel tipo redondo abanico el cual me encanto como realiza su trazo tan fluido, y así fui pigmentado y dándole cuerpo al agua en que se encuentra sumergido la cosa del pantano, bloqueé alfa en la capa de los árboles y los pigmente con un verde. Después pase a difuminar el delineado de la silueta de la cosa del pantano como también el del agua. Abrí una capa con superposición y realce el color de los ojos para darle más brillo y vida. Resalte un poco el brillo de algunas ramas para darle un poco más de profundidad y relieve usando una capa con método de mezcla añadir, y con el fondo añadir ilumine con una brocha tipo Puntillismo con opacidad media para darle esa cristalidad a la misma. Luego, use una brocha tipo pelo para definir un poco más el brillo de las ramas con la capa de añadir. Finalmente agregue hierbas de varios tipos con brochas de este tipo con una opacidad algo baja y con una capa en superposición realce un poco el color verde en algunas partes iluminadas usando un Aerógrafo de partículas. También realce el turquesa del agua y agregué con un pincel tipo brillo algo más de iluminación a la misma, finalizando con la aplicación de la brocha tipo punto de brillo para darle ese efecto fantástico. With this background, I began to recreate the water with a dark turquoise and a very light green to illuminate the source of the light. And for this I used the same round fan brush which I love how it makes its stroke so fluid, and so I was pigmented and giving body to the water in which the swamp thing is submerged, I blocked alpha in the layer of the trees and pigmented them with a green. Then I blurred the outline of the silhouette of the swamp thing as well as the water. I opened a layer with an overlay and highlighted the eye color to give it more brightness and life. I highlighted the glow of some branches to give it a little more depth and relief using a layer with add blend method, and with the background add some light with a medium opacity Pointillism brush to give it that glassiness to it. Then, use a hair brush to define a little more the brightness of the branches with the add layer. Finally add grasses of various types with brushes of this type with a somewhat low opacity and with an overlay layer enhance a little green color in some illuminated parts using a Particle Airbrush. I also enhanced the turquoise of the water and added with a glitter brush some more illumination to it, finishing with the application of the glitter dot brush to give it that fantastic effect.
