I've been very busy with my university studies, it's been really crazy but I'll still try to be here to say hi weekly. Today I wanted to make a card that I've been wanting to do for a while, it's ANGELIC MANDARIN, the first time it didn't work out so I wanted to give it a second chance. I'll tell you how it was to make this character and the step by step as I usually do.

Hola hola Bloguers, estoy de vuela luego de una semana desaparecido Xd, para traerles un nuevo fanart para el concurso semanal de splinterlands. He estado muy ocupado con mis estudios universitarios, ha sido una verdadera locura pero igual trataré de estar por acá saludando semanalmente. El día de hoy he querido hacer una carta que tenia ya hace un tiempo queriendo hacer, es ANGELIC MANDARIN la primera vez no me salió bien así que quise darle una segunda oportunidad. te cuento como fue hacer este personaje y el paso a paso como acostumbro a hacer.

This time I wanted once again to make a character creation based on an existing character, and give him a totally new image, and of course being very careful not to lose the main essence of the character, I always saw this mandarin fish as a frog with fish fins, so that's what I did Xd I created a magic frog with the outfit and the image of the original character. besides sketching a background a little more worked to not leave him alone floating in an empty background, it occurred to me to make a temple around him.

Esta vez he querido una vez mas hacer una creación de personaje basada en un personaje existente, y darle una imagen totalmente nueva, y claro teniendo mucho cuidado de no perder la esencia principal del personaje, siempre vi a este pez mandarín como una rana con aletas de pez, así que eso hice Xd cree una rana mágica con el atuendo y la imagen del personaje original. además de bocetear una fondo un poco mas trabajado para no dejarle solo flotando en un fondo vacío, se me ocurrió hacer un templo a su alrededor.

For the color phase this time I have chosen to use complementary colors on the same surface, for the skin tone I painted with turquoise and blue and I feel that it gives a new form of depth without using the same tone taken to the darkness, if not better to use a different color not too far away that represents that darkness, I know .... it is difficult to understand but later with more time I will share with you how this process works.

Para la fase de color esta vez he elegido usar colores complementarios en una misma superficie, para el tono de piel pinté con turquesa y azul y siento que le da una nueva forma de profundidad sin necesidad de utilizar el mismo tono llevado a la oscuridad, si no mejor utilizar un color distinto no muy alejado que represente esa oscuridad, lo se... es difícil de entender pero ya luego con mas tiempo les compartiré como es ese proceso.

I have also taken this opportunity to practice better the movement of the fabrics and the clothes in general, that's why I drew the magic frog floating and his clothes waving in the wind to give a more dynamic touch to the character's pose. It is a little difficult to imagine how the movement of the fabrics is but... little by little you can improve a lot by spending some time observing your own clothes or even the clothes worn by others.

He tomado también esta oportunidad para ir practicando mejor el movimiento de las telas y la ropa en general por eso, dibujé a la rana mágica flotando y que su ropa ondeara con el viento y le diera un toque mas dinámico a la pose del personaje. Es un poco difícil imaginar como es el movimiento de las telas pero... poco a poco se puede mejorar muchísimo pasando algún tiempo observando tu propia ropa o incluso la ropa que llevan puestas los demás.

To finish the background is a temple, here I used the same technique of the skin, paint with other complementary color tones, it was a little difficult but this time I had advice from my color theory teacher and it was really a wonder, because the whole background ended up harmonizing very well with the frog, and that was it. tell me what you thought and what other character would you like to see in this magical image.

Para terminar el fondo es un templo, aquí utilicé la misma técnica de la piel, pintar con otros tonos de color complementarios, fue un poco difícil pero esta vez tuve consejos de mi profesora de teoría del color y realmente fue una maravilla, porque todo el fondo terminó armonizando muy bien con la rana, y eso fue todo. cuéntame que te ha parecido y que otro personaje te gustaría ver en esta imagen mágica.
