Hello bloggers, I hope you are very well, today I bring you a new splinterlands fanart for social media challenge. Some time ago I made a fanart of REGAL PERYTON in stained glass art, this style comes from the traditional art made with small pieces of stained glass that together form an image, this style was mostly used in the past for religious works and now has expanded to infinite possibilities in which you can use it, today I bring you an illustration based on this style, giving stained glass textures to create SERPENT OF THE FLAME.

Hola bloggers, espero estén muy bien, hoy les traigo un nuevo fanart de splinterlands para social media challenge. Hace un tiempo hice un fanart de REGAL PERYTON en arte vitral, este estilo viene del arte tradicional hecho con pequeños trozos de vidrio teñidos que juntos forman una imagen, este estilo sobre todo fue utilizado en el pasado para obras religiosas y ahora se ha expandido a infinidades de posibilidades en las que lo puedes usar, hoy les traigo una ilustración basada en este estilo, dando texturas de vitral para crear a SERPENT OF THE FLAME.

It was difficult to make this sketch, the main thing I think was to make it in a different art style than the one I use, changing the lines and the whole structure of a drawing is like learning to draw something new from scratch XD. I tried to make it from the front but it didn't work, so in the end I gave it a little twist to give an illusion of being close to coming out of the screen, I don't know if you can see it but that's what I wanted to illustrate XD.

Fue difícil hacer este boceto, lo principal creo que fue hacerlo en un estilo de arte diferente al que manejo, cambiar las líneas y toda la estructura de un dibujo es como aprender a dibujar algo nuevo desde cero XD. intenté hacerla de frente pero no funcionó, así que al final le di un pequeño giro para que diera una ilusión de estar cerca de salir de la pantalla, no se si se vea pero eso quise ilustrar XD.

A perfect point to make this fanart in this style was that the snakes are full of frames and very similar paintings so I played a little with that to make it combine very well with the rest of the paintings, as well as to draw the fire it was perfect to play with those curved shapes and paint it in the form of chess so it would give much more the feeling that they were pieces of glass glued to form the fire.

Un punto perfecto de hacer este fanart en este estilo fue que las serpientes están llenas de tramas y cuadros muy parecidos así que jugué un poco con eso para hacer que combinara muy bien con el resto de los cuadros, al igual que para dibujar el fuego cayo perfecto jugar con esas formas curvas y pintarlo en forma de ajedrez así daría mucho mas la sensación que eran pedazos de vidrios pegados para formar el fuego.

En lo más profundo de un laberinto de calientes túneles de piedra, bajo la caldera hirviente de la Montaña Fundida, la Serpiente de la Llama espera cómodamente. For the color I used the original colors of the character and only gave some different shades to generate the backlight and make it stand out much more, this can not be done in stained glass art in a traditional way but I wanted to unite both things to do something different because I really like to experiment. Para el color utilicé los colores originales del personaje y solo di algunos matices diferentes para generar la contraluz y hacer que resaltara mucho mas, esto no se puede hacer en el arte vitral de manera tradicional pero quise unir ambas cosas para hacer algo diferente ya que me gusta mucho experimentar. cuéntame que te ha parecido este personaje y este fanart y si te gustaría ver algún otro personaje en este genial estilo.
