My Last seasonal rewards

I was earning Diamond tier rewards chests last season, of which I earned 25 total just in seasonal rewards chests.

Not bad 2 packs, 4 summoners, 95.719 SPS, 2,103 MERITS (Guild Store currency), 45 Legendary Potions, 67 Alchemy Potions, & a few other rewards cards.

Of this I can spend

2 Chaos Legion Packs

$2.64 + $2.36 x 2 = $7.36

My rentals totaled just above $7 last season, so I broke even right?

No, this is just seasonal rewards not counting daily rewards for that season.

All total I'm up around $6.70 for the season (14 days), that is in addition to the rewards cards, which may temporarily be unsellable, however they have use & add account power.

So while yes not todays profit Rewards Cards lower tomorrows NFT rental deficit.

The Rewards cards are the best reward for players as you build a more diverse Splinterlands portfolio, Your build becomes stronger, & you require less rented power.

Keep in mind I'm not breaking the bank or committing all day to Splinterlands, just playing on break & stuff.

You can as a Splinterlands player on HIVE play a second P2E Splinterforge using Splinterlands NFTs.

Its all connected?!!

Kinda the beauty of blockchain the interconnected nature of projects, this is how multi project NFT collections are becoming more normalized. Splinterforge using Splinterlands NFTs would be the first project using a system like this on HIVE.

The objective in Splinterforge is much akin to a Splinterlands Boss Run the game community participates in collectively.

Those that played before February 15th Splinterforge was in alpha now the rewards are real and live, traditionally alpha builds are still unmonetized as the game is still in the testing phase.

Having participated in many, Blockchain Game Alpha Build tests I can attest to the regularity of such a concept.

Packs & profits

When Pack lines from Splinterlands or similar collections come to the end of their sale, my instinct is to top up my portfolio with a few extras while the prices are low.

The Chaos legion packs now have an extra 13 Legendary cards since they launched making the profitability of opening them much higher on average.

Chaos legion packs where not selling very fast so this colection will have skewed NFT distribution from it so the 103 cards 206 with gold foil will eventually become increasingly rare.

So when it comes to chaos packs stock up & burn them while you got them, take it from someone that has been through this with a number of packs already.

Diversify or die

Diversity is a key concept to the new Splinterlands META (Most Effective Tactics Available), this changes not only play style, but the Assets rental appeal.

The introduction of 2 new rule sets, 3 new abilities, & new rewards cards into Splinterlands relatively recently has lead many to reexamine their build or strategy.

My recent match is a perfect example, my opponent on top played far more expensive cards, meanwhile I have 1 card rented out of all of them that I played.

I only had this rented 👇 & it did basically nothing.

The rest of the cards played where all free, obtained via playing Splinterlands.

So obviously its paying to be a patient player lately, & its likely to continue in this direction, so how does one rent in a market that may not need it as much?

When renting out Splinterlands cards in game you have the choice of daily or seasonal, season long rentals are lacking to say the least & I for one pay to have no rentals to worry about that daily.

Keep the fact Chaos Legion packs are coming to an end soon, The rental prices eventually will reflect their absence & the Seasonal rentals most of all.
