Today I am with you again to show you my art, I love every week to go through this wonderful world of magic, color, and lots of Splinterlands characters to look for new elements or characters to build different crafts such as jewelry, accessories, 3D figures and other things that motivate me, inspire me and activate my creativity and thus be able to create for you.

Today I’m sharing a new piece of art with you. I decided to create a decorative flower inspired by the character “Buttercup Mauler,” using the 2D quilling technique.

Hola a toda mi gente de Hive... 🐱

Hoy estoy con ustedes nuevamente para mostrarles mi arte, me encanta semana a semana pasar por ese maravilloso mundo de magia, color, y muchísimos personajes de Splinterlands para buscar nuevos elementos o personajes para construir diversas manualidades bien sean bisutería, accesorios, figuras en 3D entre otras cosas que me motiven, inspiren y activen mi creatividad y de esa manera poder crear para ustedes.

Para hoy les traigo un nuevo trabajo de arte, decidí realizar una flor decorativa inspirada en el personaje "Buttercup Mauler", en 2D en la técnica de quilling.

• Start by taking 5mm-wide yellow and orange quilling paper. Using the quilling needle, roll one of the strips until you reach the end; remove it from the needle, loosen it slightly, and secure it with extra-strong white glue to form an open circle. You’ll need 6 yellow and 6 orange circles, all the same size.

• To form the petals, shape each circle into a teardrop. Then, attach a yellow teardrop to an orange one by applying glue in the middle. To finish shaping the petal and make it stand out more, wrap a 5mm-wide strip of black ribbon around the two pieces.

• Arrange the petals in groups of three, and then join the two groups together to form the flower.

• Comenzamos tomando cinta para quilling de color amarillo y color naranja de 5mm de ancho, con la aguja para quilling enrollaremos una de las cintas gasta llegar al final de la misma, sacamos de la aguja, soltamos un poco y sellamos con pega blanca extra fuerte, para obtener un círculo abierto. Necesitaremos 6 de color amarillo y 6 de color naranja todos del mismo tamaño.

• Para formar los pétalos moldearemos cada circulo en forma de gotas, luego procedemos a unir una gota amarilla y una naranja aplicando pega en el medio, para terminar de formar el pétalo y que resalte más pase un trozo de cinta negra de 5mm de ancho alrededor de las dos piezas.

• Uniremos en grupos de 3 los pétalos, y luego unimos los dos grupos para formar la flor.

• To make the center of the flower, I took 1mm-wide beige and black ribbon, joined them together to form a single strip, and wound it around the needle, starting with the beige ribbon, to create a closed multicolored circle. I glued this in the center of the flower.

• I made two leaves to adorn the flower by creating two open circles with 5mm-wide light and dark green ribbon; I made one larger than the other, then shaped them into leaves and glued them to the sides of the flower.

• And just like that, we have this 2D decorative flower I made, inspired by the flower held in the hands of the character from the card “Buttercup Mauler”.

• Para realizar el centro de la flor tomé cinta de color beige y de color negra de 1mm de ancho, uno ambas para formar una sola cinta, enrollé con la aguja empezando por el color beige para formar un círculo cerrado multicolor. Este lo pegué en medio de la flor.

• Realicé dos hojas para adornar la flor, realizando dos círculos abiertos con cinta de color verde claro y oscuro de 5mm de ancho, hice uno más grande que el otro, luego los moldee en forma de hojas y procedí a pegar a los lados de la flor.

• De esta manera tenemos lista esta flor decorativa en 2D que elabore, inspirada en la flor que lleva en sus manos el personaje de la carta "Buttercup Mauler".
