⢠Cintas para quilling.
⢠Aguja para quilling.
⢠Plantilla para moldear cĂrculos.
⢠Cartulinas.
⢠Guillotina de cortar papel.
⢠Pega blanca extra fuerte (de carpinterĂa).
⢠Pincel.
⢠Tijera.
⢠Quilling strips.
⢠Quilling needle.
⢠Circle template.
⢠Cardstock.
⢠Paper cutter.
⢠Wooden stick.
⢠Extra-strong white glue (carpentry glue).
⢠Paintbrush.
⢠Scissors.

⢠To start with the central figure, I used 3-mm-wide quilling strips in two shades of green. For the head, I used the darker strip, wound it around the needle until I reached the end, secured it with extra-strong white glue, and removed it from the needle to form a closed circle.
⢠Using the same method as before, I took a lighter shade of green strip and made another closed circle, slightly smaller than the first.
⢠To make the body, I created a series of closed circles, each smaller than the last, until I had five. For the tail, I made a smaller one shaped like a teardrop.
⢠Once all the pieces were ready, I joined them together with extra-strong white glue, as you can see in the image, to form my slug.

⢠For the antennae, I used light green ribbon and twisted it into spirals at the tips. I glued them to the slugâs head.
⢠I made a small mushroom to attach to the body of the figure I created. I did this by forming an open circle with 3mm red quilling ribbon, then flattening the top part at the bottom.
⢠I made another open circle, this time in white using 3mm ribbon; I shaped the neck to form the mushroomâs stem, joined the two pieces, and attached it to the slugâs body.
⢠To decorate the figure and make it more eye-catching, I glued on some costume jewelry crystals, a few half-pearls, and a silver appliquÊ in various spots.
⢠And just like that, this decorative figureâinspired by elements of the character from the card âCave Slugââis ready.

The amount of detail in this quilling piece is impressive, which makes the finished work even more impressive. Bravo
