Splinterlands art contest/ Graphite drawing of Thane Newsong

It has been a wonderful journey so far exploring several splinterlands character and yet this is another week to explore some more splinterland characters. This week i would be making my entry to the Splinterlands art contest with a graphite drawing of the character Thane Newsong. Yeah its an amazing character which i can like explore because of his alien likeness yes we are made to believe cyclops are deformed not aliens but i say otherwise. I once saw in the movie a cyclops which was in the movie Odyssey, a very interesting movie and also the lightning thief if could remember correctly. So i was attracted to this particular
image cause of its look. Making this drawing took me a lot of time. It all started with a rough sketch which i created in conjunction with the card.

I made this drawing with a 10B bianyo pencil on an A4 paper.
The process bellow gives more insight of how the drawing was made. I used a 10B Bianyo pencil in making this drawing

I like the drawing. By the way, I am just curious what is the difference between a graphite and charcoal drawing?

Charcoal is more darker and easy to blend then graphite thanks for your comment
