Welcome to another Splinterlands social media challenge organised by @splinterlands. I've been looking through some splinterlands character and find similar one to that of the once we see in our daily movie/cartoons which also interests me more as an artist to want to explore them the more. I'm not saying they are the same but they can be compared. I decided to make a drawings of the Splinterland character Doctor Blight. Doctors Blight can be compared to the popularly known plague doctor.

I made use of a 2B pencil for the rough and a 10B pencil for the main image and a A4 paper.
Let’s go through the process of my drawing i bet you would love it. My favorite part of the drawing was the shading which i really enjoyed doing.

• PROCEDURE

First was the rough skect wich is the most delicate part of your drawing cause it gives direction and focus to where the drawing is heading to. It's one of my favourite part about my draw cause i like to shape them the way i like. It can also be said to be the skeleton of your art work.

I dived into the main sketch from the face using a 10B Bianyo pencil, like I've said past post i shaded from left to right to avoid smudging the image. So i did the head of the drawing.

Here i drew and shaded the his chain.

Then i drew and shaded the hat and the body closely studing the casting of the light and and where the shadows falls. Which gives life to any image, as an artist the ability to show contrast is very important. You can turn a circle to a ball with the right shadings.

I fixed the hand and lamp studing the casting of the lamp also determines where to place the highlights and then i shaded.
