This game has a lot of colorful and very unique cards, as well as interesting and cool characters. My intention is to create a fan art, inspired by one of the cards in the game. The character I chose was "Silvershield Bard".

As always, I like to share the process, or step by step, of the works I make, whether they are drawings, crafts or sculptures. It's always great to see how a work starts from a base material to the final result.

It wouldn't be a complete publication without this, so let's get started.

The first thing I did was to take a white sheet of paper and set up my workspace. My intention was to make a black and white drawing with shadows, so the only tool I used, for now, was a graphite pencil, with which I began to draw the initial strokes.

Como siempre, me gusta compartir el proceso, o el paso a paso, de las obras que hago, sean dibujos, manualidades o esculturas. Siempre es genial ver cómo una obra comienza desde un material base hasta el resultado final.

No sería una publicación completa sin esto, así que vamos a comenzar.

Lo primero que hice fue tomar una hoja blanca y preparar mi espacio de trabajo. Mi intención era hacer un dibujo a blanco y negro con sombras, así que la única herramienta que utilicé, por ahora, fue un lápiz de grafito, con el cual comencé a dibujar los trazos iniciales.

I started from the top all the way down. It would not be a full body drawing, but a sort of bust.

After making the head, I continued with the jacket and some details that the character had on his clothes, like a sort of sun on his shirt, hidden by the jacket.

Comencé desde la parte superior hasta abajo. No sería un dibujo de cuerpo completo, pero sí una suerte de busto.

Después de hacer la cabeza, continué con la chaqueta y algunos detalles que tenía en la ropa el personaje, como una suerte de sol en su camiseta, oculta por la chaqueta.

The face cost me a lot, because the eyes and mouth were not in place, so I had to erase a lot; however, I tried to leave in place the details that characterize the character, such as the hat with the feather.

El rostro me costó mucho, pues no quedaban en su lugar los ojos o la boca, así que tuve que borrar mucho; sin embargo, traté de dejar en su lugar los detalles que caracterizan al personaje, como el sombrero con la pluma.

And that's how the initial outline was, without any kind of shadow to give more depth. For now it was just a flat drawing.

Y así quedó el delineado inicial, sin ningún tipo de sombra que diese más profundidad. Por ahora solo era un dibujo plano.

To begin "coloring" the drawing, I started by darkening the hair, without painting it all over with graphite, just darkening it while making black lines to simulate each hair.

Para comenzar a "colorear" el dibujo, comencé oscureciendo el cabello, sin pintarlo del todo con grafito, simplemente oscureciéndolo mientras hacía líneas negras para simular cada cabello.

I continued painting more dark areas such as the symbol on the character's chest, darkening the center and giving a little shadow to the ornament around the central part.

Continué pintando más áreas oscuras como el símbolo que tiene el personaje en el pecho, oscureciendo el centro y dando un poco de sombra al adorno alrededor de la parte central.

Since the jacket was purple, I simply darkened the edge of the jacket quite a bit and applied some shadows on the rest of the jacket, giving more darkness in the areas where needed.

Como la chaqueta era morada, simplemente oscurecí bastante el borde de la chaqueta y apliqué algunas sombras en el resto de la chaqueta, dando más oscuridad en las áreas donde fuese necesario.

I admit that it was more difficult to do the outlining of the face than to do the details like the eyebrows or facial lines, but I still had a hard time.

I started with that first, the eyelashes, then the eyebrows and then I added shadows on the eyelid, nose and mouth.

Admito que fue más difícil hacer el delineado del rostro que hacer los detalles como las cejas o líneas faciales, pero igual me costó.

Primero comencé con eso, las pestañas, luego las cejas y después agregué sombras tanto en el párpado, como en la nariz y la boca.

The last thing was to give the necessary shadows and darkness to the hat. It was not easy, but I managed to give different shades of darkness and shadows to areas where it was necessary, creating a "dynamic" hat, to call it somehow, that is to say, that had movement.

Lo último fue dar las sombras y oscuridad necesaria al sombrero. Que no fue fácil, pero logré darle distintas tonalidades de oscuridad y sombras a áreas donde era necesario, logrando crear un sombrero "dinámico", por llamarlo de alguna manera, es decir, que tuviese movimiento.

And after adding some final details, such as polka dots and laces on the belly ornament, the drawing was finished.

Y tras agregar algunos últimos detalles, como lunares y cordones en el adorno del abdomen, el dibujo quedó terminado.

On the other hand, I got a little creative and looked for my colors, to give even more life to this drawing, coloring it even though I already had the shadows.

Por otra parte, me puse un poco creativo y busqué mis colores, para darle aún más vida a este dibujo, coloreándolo a pesar de que ya tenía las sombras.

This was the final result after coloring it completely.

Este fue el resultado final después de colorearlo por completo.
