Time to Start This Roundup with Splinterlands
On Wednesday, Splinterlands launched the 30-day (or less) presale for the new Rebellion core edition. About half of the 500k presale packs were purchased in a matter of hours. While not as "successful" as bull market presales, it denotes core investors still trust the team despite their financial troubles. The new core edition also comes with a number of novelties that both correct mistakes from the past and make Rebellion desirable. Let's hope that doesn't make previous editions (Chaos Legion) less desirable.
Rebellion is also the first edition brought out as a collaboration between the company and the SPS DAO, where the company is hired to create and sell them, and proceeds are split 50/50.
We also have this week a pre-proposal backed by Matt that argues that it is time for the DAO to hire its first employee, in this case a former employee of Splinterlands. Reasons are explained in the proposal.
We also have a first-time pre-proposal this week, as far as I can remember, attempting to secure funding from the SPS DAO for 3rd party game development connected to the Splinterlands assets.
From the other half - namely GLS - came a proposal too this week. Check it out.
INLEO: Premium Before Ad Revenue
Khal talked extensively during the last INLEO AMA about the premium option they want to add to INLEO before the end of October, since Ad Revenue will be launched on November 1st. I watched the recording a few days ago, and if I remember correctly, the funds obtained from Premium on a monthly basis would be used to buy LEO and HIVE and add them to the bLEO:bHIVE LP on BSC (please correct me if I'm wrong regarding the tokens and the LP, otherwise I'm sure Khal said they will buy two tokens and add them to an LP, but maybe I don't remember exactly which tokens he mentioned).
Incoming Central European Rally in Germany
Looks like we are doing great with the pre-event warmup marketing for our Hive rally car! @lordbuttererfly describes some nice results and calls for more action on the Zealy campaign.
He talks about live coverage of the event, which I don't think we've had before. We become better and better with every passing rally event even on the media coverage side.
The event was announced on hive.io as well, and I assume on many X accounts, since that was the big focus of the pre-event marketing.
New RPG Game Coming on Hive: Holozing
The claimdrop for the ZING token of the soon-to-come game Holozing started less than 12 hours ago and takes place hourly. It is based on delegated HP or POSH tokens held. Check out the information on the token distribution.

3Speak Updates
3Speak team had a development update post this week, establishing ongoing priorities at the same time.

Crypto Class Action against Meta
As promised, @apshamilton didn't give up and keeps going with the action against Meta, in whatever form it will be possible. Read more in his post.
He also published the notice to class action members, as ordered by the Australian court.
Psyber-X Goes Metal
Looks like the Psyber-X team will be launching a new game, Psyber Metal, adding a limited edition mechanized suites and vehicles to Psyber-X, Psyber-Towers and the new game, Psyber-Metal.

Start of Borehole #12 Project in Ghana
If we look at the history, last year 5 boreholes were constructed from scratch in Ghana. This year, we already have 6 until the 11th, and now should be the 7th. Here's the beginning of borehole #12 project.
Hive and DBuzz Share School Supplies in Philippines
I remember @chisrice at the Hivefest saying there is great potential there because schools in Philippines are quite populated compared to other parts of the world. Maybe a good ground for some classes / courses about Hive / Web 3 / DBuzz.

Fake News from Cointelegraph Woke Up the Bulls
However the fake news about the BlackRock Spot ETF being approved ended up in Cointelegraph may not matter any more. They tried to clarify the issue, but here's what remains afterwards: a 5 min pump to 30k for bitcoin, followed by a dump after people realized the news wasn't real, but that's not all. The increasing FOMO sentiment of bitcoin bulls, which made it go back up and test 30k again.
SEC Drops Charges against Ripple Top Executives
Another reason for the bull's confidence comes from the SEC that backs down for the second time in two week. This time for charges against Ripple top executives. This leads to a growing sentiment that a Bitcoin Spot ETF will be approved soon as well.

I missed the GO roadmap news, so thanks for sharing it here. Hive doing charitable works in the Philippines is great news. I think the Philippines still has a large crypto scene, and it would be nice if Hive get adopted by a lot more people.
I agree. There is a big potential there and I believe Chris Rice will try to tap into it.
To be honest, I'll need to re-read them again more attentively later on. Couldn't focus when I read them.

It looks like quite a bit happened. I knew most of the stuff towards the top but I didn't realize that the court case was still going on against Meta.
As for rebellion, I wonder how much will be sold. I will be buying my packs soon but it will probably just be a drop in the bucket.
Don't really understand the legal terms to see what he tried to accomplish after the court kind of stopped the class action. Didn't try very hard to be honest either, as I had many other things to get to.
I am pretty pleased with the sales so far. Unless there will be a rush at the end for better positioning, I don't think all the 500k will be sold during the presale.

That's a great observation! It might be because buyers are mainly existing players, not new ones, and they already have CL cards at the level they want. This is the only reason I could find, otherwise, the price differential is too high.
