I play in the Wild at Silver League level and I hope that the SPS holding requirement will keep most bots in the Bronze League for a while.

I'm curious to see what happens in modern league, if things improve the overall experience I can see bots leaving wild as well.
Thanks for your reply. After EOS I will switch to Modern as Wild rewards are almost worthless. I spend about 1000 DEC every few days renting cards so my return on investment in Wild has almost gone, leaving only Modern. Perhaps the time has come for Splinterlands to hard-fork into players and non-players?
I would say the time has come to ban bots alltogether. I don't know any game where having bots is an advantage.
Yes we no longer need these bots, especially for the Diamond and below levels where there are sufficient players to generate battles in a timely manner. If the Whales need them at Champion level, then let them use bots; otherwise, us smaller marine life certainly can do without bots! As far as I am aware, there are no other Hive Blockchain games using bots so perhaps non-players can be banned entirely as a condition for using this blockchain? Thanks for sharing - Ian.
I would say we never needed them, probably.I don't know any game, web 2 or web 3, where bots were good for the game. Let's see what the future will bring!
