Saludos querida comunidad #needleworkmonday. Este fin de semana estuve trabajando muy duro en mi proyecto porque quería llegar a tiempo de publicarlo hoy por ser lunes, aunque fue un poco abrumador logré completarlo y me siento muy satisfecha 😁, se trata de mi participación en el Splinterlands Art Contest 267 con el colgante de pared hecho en la técnica macramé del personaje Crypt Mancer, escogí este personaje porque me pareció muy intimidante y misterioso porque tiene su poder por la espantosa magia de los muertos.
Greetings dear community #needleworkmonday. This weekend I was working very hard on my project because I wanted to be in time to publish it today since it was Monday, although it was a little overwhelming I managed to complete it and I feel very satisfied 😁, it is about my participation in the Splinterlands Art Contest 267 with the wall hanging made in the macramé technique of the Crypt Mancer character, I chose this character because I found it very intimidating and mysterious because it has its power due to the terrifying magic of the dead.
Proceso/ Process
Lo primero que hice fue recortar la imagen para determinar las dimensiones del patrón para el colgante. Luego de esto escogí los colores de hilo acrílico que usaría, en este patrón de colores lo que me parecía importante era destacar el delineado negro de la figura, pues este personaje tiene una vestimenta muy oscura y no habría diferenciación del fondo y los bordes si usaba negro, así que escogí tres tonos de hilo marrón para poder hacer la ropas oscuras sin que se confundieron con el delineado, igualmente para el rostro usé tres tonos de verde.
The first thing I did was crop the image to determine the dimensions of the pattern for the pendant. After this I chose the colors of acrylic thread that I would use, in this color pattern what seemed important to me was to highlight the black outline of the figure, since this character has a very dark clothing and there would be no differentiation of the background and edges if he used black, so I chose three shades of brown thread to be able to make the dark clothes without them being confused with the outline, also for the face I used three shades of green.
Como dije anteriormente la figura es oscura, así escogí en esta ocasión u. Color de hilo azul claro para el fondo. Con este corte 15 hileras de 45 cm, las uno al palito con nudos, obteniendo así 30 hilos guía, sobre los cuales haría los nudos simples, cambiando de color en la hebra que anida para cada parte del diseño.
As I said before, the figure is dark, that's how I chose u on this occasion. Light blue thread color for the background. With this cut 15 rows of 45 cm, I join them to the stick with knots, thus obtaining 30 guide threads, on which I would make the simple knots, changing the color of the nesting thread for each part of the design.
Al principio tenía mis dudas que al usar tantos colores oscuros no se distinguieran la luces y las sombras de la figura, pero a medida que avanzando con cada nudo, la figura iba mostrándose más detallada, en total trabajé por 65 hileras
At first I had my doubts that by using so many dark colors the lights and shadows of the figure would not be distinguished, but as I progressed with each knot, the figure became more detailed, in total I worked for 65 rows
Al finalizar agrupe los hilos guía en 4 parte y con una hebra de hilo morado hice un nudo en cada una. Luego con 6 hebras de 20 cm de hilo azul hice una trenza para hacer el colgante en el palito.
At the end I grouped the guide threads into 4 parts and with a strand of purple thread I tied a knot in each one. Then with 6 strands of 20 cm of blue thread I made a braid to make the pendant on the stick.
Resultado
Cada nudo por muy pequeño que parezca es importante para lograr el efecto deseado, no hay que subestimar la complejidad de los proyectos, cada vez aprenda más de estas experiencias creativas y estoy muy feliz de seguir compartiendo con ustedes mi arte. Espero les guste.
