Fungus Flinger Amigurumi/ Splinterlands Art Contest Week 266
Saludos querida comunidad, espero se encuentren bien y sus proyectos de trabajo de aguja vayan muy bien, hoy comparto con ustedes un amigurumi para participar en el Splinterlands Art Contest 266, hace casi un mes que no hacía un amigurumi y ustedes saben que me apasiona hacerlos, así que buscando entre las cartas de Splinterlands me encontré con el personaje Fungus Flinger, el cual me encantó porque a pesar de su apariencia tierna puede ser muy peligro si lo molestan, los miembros de esta especie suelen lanzar hongos mortíferos y además cuando mueren liberen esporas que fortalecen a sus aliados, esto es una habilidad increíble, así que puse manos a la obra para hacer este amigurumi con mucho cariño.
Greetings dear community, I hope you are well and your needlework projects are going very well, today I share with you an amigurumi to participate in the Splinterlands Art Contest 266, it has been almost a month since I made an amigurumi and you know that I am passionate about making them , so searching through the Splinterlands cards I found the character Fungus Flinger, which I loved because despite its cute appearance it can be very dangerous if disturbed, members of this species usually launch deadly fungus and also when they die they release spores that strengthen their allies, this is an incredible ability, so I got to work to make this amigurumi with great love.
Proceso / Process
Para este amigurumi usé hilo acrílico de 1mm de espesor, de los colores: blanco, negros, dos tonos de naranja y tres tonos de amarillo. Comencé haciendo el cuerpo con el hilo naranja , empezando con una anillo de 6 puntos bajos, hice 6 aumentos por hilera hasta obtener 54 puntadas, trabajé con los demás colores para crear el degradado en 12 hileras sin aumentos, luego hice disminuciones pero solo en la parte del frente para crear ese efecto de barriga grande que lo hace ver tierno . Luego hice la cabeza terminando con los tallos en donde de nuevo usé los demás colores para hacer un degradado a la inversa y terminar con el color naranja en la parte superior.
For this amigurumi I used 1mm thick acrylic yarn, in the colors: white, black, two shades of orange and three shades of yellow. I started making the body with the orange thread, starting with a ring of 6 single crochets, I made 6 increases per row until I had 54 stitches, I worked with the other colors to create the gradient in 12 rows without increases, then I made decreases but only in the part of the front to create that big belly effect that makes it look tender. Then I made the head finishing with the stems where again I used the other colors to make a reverse gradient and finish with the orange color on top.
Hice los pies solo con el hilo naranja, comencé con 5 cadenas de base , hice 4 aumentos por hilera hasta obtener 14 puntadas para el pie, hice 6 disminuciones para el tobillo y luego hice aumentos para el resto de la pequeña pierna. Para los brazos comencé por la mano, haciendo cada dedo naranja por separado, usé los tres tonos de amarillo para la mano mientras que para el resto del brazo usé hilo blanco.
I made the feet with just the orange thread, started with 5 base chains, made 4 increases per row until I had 14 stitches for the foot, made 6 decreases for the ankle and then made increases for the rest of the little leg. For the arms I started with the hand, making each finger orange separately, I used the three shades of yellow for the hand while for the rest of the arm I used white thread.
Para la cabeza de los hongos, hice 9 círculos blancos de diferentes tamaños formados por anillos de puntos altos, luego según el número correspondiente de puntadas de cada círculo hice con hilo naranja la parte superior de los hongos y los cosí a los tallos.
For the head of the mushrooms, I made 9 white circles of different sizes formed by rings of double crochets, then according to the corresponding number of stitches in each circle I made the top of the mushrooms with orange thread and sewed them to the stems.
Por último hice los ojos con hilo naranja más intenso, también hice los pequeños brotes de hongos del cuerpo, luego hice dos esferas con hilo negro y con el hilo martillo oscuro hice cadenas y puntos deslizados sobre las cadenas para simular las esporas que lanzan los hongos.
Finally I made the eyes with more intense orange thread, I also made the small mushroom sprouts on the body, then I made two spheres with black thread and with the dark hammer thread I made chains and slipped stitches on the chains to simulate the spores that the mushrooms release. .
Resultado / Result
A pesar de que a simple vista la figura puede parecer sencilla completé este proyecto en 4 días, estoy muy satisfecha con el resultado y espero a ustedes les guste 🥰
