Tortisian Fighter // Splinterlands Art Contest Week 249
Saludos querida comunidad, hoy 13 de Julio se celebra el Día de las tejedoras, así que estoy feliz de compartir con ustedes mi primera participación en el Splinterlands Art Contest, este es un amigurumi inspirado en la carta del Luchador Tortisiano, en cual según la página oficial del juego, este es un luchador perteneciente a una raza civilizada que proviene del otro lado del mundo, siendo un personaje con naturaleza marina, que contiene la respiración por mucho tiempo bajo el agua y usa su caparazón como flotador, también es practicante de Artes marciales y tiene una lanza como arma. Desde que vi la carta me interesó hacer este guerrero tan poderoso.
Greetings dear community, today July 13th is the Day of the weavers, so I am happy to share with you my first participation in the Splinterlands Art Contest, this is an amigurumi inspired by the Tortisian Fighter card, which according to the page official of the game, this is a fighter belonging to a civilized race that comes from the other side of the world, being a character with a marine nature, who holds his breath for a long time underwater and uses his shell as a float, he is also a practitioner of Arts martial and has a spear as a weapon. Ever since I saw the card, I was interested in making this powerful warrior.

Proceso // Process
Tardé seis días en hacer este amigurumi que mide 20 cm, para esto usé hilo acrílico y ganchillo de 1,25mm, alambre para la estructura interna y relleno de fibra acrílica antialérgica. Comencé de los pies a la cabeza. Haciendo con hilo verde los cuatro dedos del pie con 4 puntos bajos en un anillo y tres hileras. Uní los dedos y continué haciendo el pie y el empeine, disminuí puntadas para obtener un tobillo de 12 puntos. Luego de hacer los dos pies, continúe haciendo las piernas con color blanco, para esto aumenté a 24 puntos bajos y trabajé 22 hileras, luego uní las piernas e hice 7 hileras más, para luego cambiar a color marrón y hacer 17 hileras de puntos bajos para completar el torso.
It took me six days to make this amigurumi that measures 20 cm, for this I used 1.25mm acrylic yarn and crochet hook, wire for the internal structure and antiallergic acrylic fiber filling. I started from head to toe. Making with green thread the four toes of the foot with 4 low points in a ring and three rows. I joined the fingers and continued making the foot and the instep, I decreased stitches to obtain a 12-point ankle. After making the two feet, continue making the legs with white, for this I increased to 24 single crochets and worked 22 rows, then joined the legs and made 7 more rows, then change to brown and make 17 rows of single crochets to complete the torso.
Para los brazos comencé haciendo los dedos de las manos, uní los primeros cuatro y luego el pulgar, continué hasta la altura de la muñeca, aparte hice 4 puntos bajos en una anillo y aumenté 3 puntadas por hileras hasta obtener 24, de allí dividí las puntadas para el antebrazo y los bíceps, haciendo aumentos para lograr los músculos, luego cosí la mano. Hice ambos brazos y los coloque a ambos lados ,pasando el alambre de la estructura por dentro de estos, rellené con fibra y retome el hilo marrón del torso, continúe haciendo disminuciones y puntos bajos para hacer los hombros y el cuello. Luego hice aumento para obtener la cabeza.
For the arms I started making the fingers of the hands, joined the first four and then the thumb, continued until the height of the wrist, apart from that I made 4 single crochets in a ring and increased 3 stitches per row until obtaining 24, from there I divided the stitches for the forearm and biceps, making increases to achieve the muscles, then I sewed the hand. I made both arms and placed them on both sides, passing the wire of the structure inside them, stuffed with fiber and resumed the brown thread of the torso, continue making decreases and single crochets to make the shoulders and neck. Then I did augmentation to get the head.
Para bordar los ojos utilicé dos tonos de hilo de coser amarillo e hilo negro. Para las líneas del rostro usé hilo acrílico de color borde claro. Para el caparazón usé un hilo verde olivo, comencé con una base de 6 cadenas, haciendo 6 aumentos por hilera de forma equidistante hasta lograr obtener 82 puntadas, hice las puntadas de orillo introduciendo un alambre por el borde para que el caparazón mantenga su forma. Luego con hilo verde claro bordé la líneas del caparazón. Para la lanza usé un palillo de altura por dentro de un tubo de 4 puntos bajos con color marrón claro, la punta de la lanza la hice con hilo gris, mientras que las plumas decorativas de la lanza las hice con hilo blanco.
To embroider the eyes I used two shades of yellow sewing thread and black thread. For the lines of the face I used acrylic yarn in a light edge color. For the shell I used an olive green thread, I started with a base of 6 chains, making 6 increases per row equidistantly until I got 82 stitches, I made the selvage stitches introducing a wire through the edge so that the shell maintains its shape. Then with light green thread I embroidered the lines of the shell. For the spear I used a toothpick inside a tube with 4 single crochets with light brown color, the tip of the spear was made with gray thread, while the decorative feathers of the spear were made with white thread.
Resultado / Result
Me siento muy satisfecha con el resultado, mi principal objetivo era lograr el parecido con el personaje de la carta, me encantó hacer los brazos musculosos, así como también las líneas del rostro y el caparazón, fue un trabajo largo pero muy divertido. Espero a ustedes les guste tanto como a mi 🥰
I feel very satisfied with the result, my main objective was to achieve the resemblance to the character on the card, I loved making the muscular arms, as well as the lines of the face and the shell, it was a long job but very fun. I hope you like it as much as I do 🥰

con razón, se puede ver como entre cada punto el espacio es super estrecho, casi como una máquina.. Yo también se tejer, bueno, creo que sabía porque hace un montón de años que no lo hago. Pero realmente me gustó como quedó..
