Un Saludo a todos los amantes del Arte

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un dibujo que me encantó, ya que conté con la ayuda de mi hija para hacerlo. Ella me acompañó y me fue diciendo de qué forma le gustaba y de qué color lo quería, y yo fui complaciéndola. Cuando mi pequeña vio la figura que estaba dibujando, se emocionó mucho, ella tiene cinco años y está en esa adorable edad en la que le encantan las princesas y los unicornios. Y de esto se trata mi dibujo, bueno al menos una parte ya que no pude complacerla en dibujar la princesa, pero si le regalé su unicornio.

For this drawing I was inspired by one of the Splinterlands cards called "Unicorn Mustang". I would have liked the unicorn to have a more fierce expression, but it was impossible for me to achieve it, and with my little girl's eyes on what she was doing, much less.

For the drawing I used a sheet of white letter size paper, (21.6 x 27.9 cm), black pencils, crayons, glue sticks and magazine clippings. I started by tracing the figure in pencil and little by little I added all the details.

Para este dibujo me inspire en una de las cartas de Splinterlands llamada "Unicorn Mustang". Me hubiera gustado que el unicornio hubiera quedado con una expresión más feroz, pero me fue imposible conseguirlo, y con la mirada de mi niña sobre lo que hacía mucho menos.

Para el dibujo utilicé una hoja de papel blanco tamaño carta, (21.6 x 27.9 cm), lápices negros, crayolas de colores, goma de pegar y recortes de revistas. Comencé trazando la figura a lápiz y poco a poco fui añadiendo todos los detalles.

When I was happy with the final result I started to add some details on the sheet of paper. I liked the collage technique I had used in my previous drawing, so I decided to apply it to this one as well. I used various magazine clippings to represent the sky, the ground and the flowers. At this stage, my super helper (my little girl) was by my side gluing some of the figures.

Cuando estuve conforme con el resultado final comencé a añadir algunos detalles en la hoja de papel. Me gustó la técnica del collage que había utilizado en mi dibujo anterior, así que decidí aplicarla en este también. Utilicé varios recortes de revistas para representar el cielo, el suelo y las flores. En esta etapa, mi súper ayudante (mi niña) estuvo a mi lado pegando algunas de las figuras.

To finish it I colored the unicorn, always guided by my daughter's taste and her favorite colors, and she was giving me the go ahead.

Para concluirlo le di color al unicornio, siempre guiándome por el gusto de mi hija y sus colores preferidos, y ella me iba dando el visto bueno.

I hope you like the final result. My little girl and I had a lot of fun making it.

Espero que les guste el resultado final. Mi niña y yo nos divertimos mucho realizándolo.
