Are you familiar with those battles in which you play just for the "play". In those battles the loss never hurts because in the first place you didnt really care...
On the other hand, when you plan each battle as if your life depends on its outcome ... that's a different story...
My most sting loss happened long time ago... I think it was the second round of battles in a tournament. I did pretty good really maybe not the first place but i think i was top 5.
I got high hopes. And i did give my soul for each battle. Especially for a very specific battle:
It was among the last battles. My opponent did have strong cards but I noticed that he tended to repeat the same strategy over and over again. With my great genius I built the perfect team to defeat the opponent ... I was ready for victory.
Indeed I would probably have won if I had only remembered to consider the rules of battle which included poison. I will spare you the details just saying that I discovered the existence of the poison only when we were already in battle ... it was a humiliating loss - most of the time I know how to lose with dignity ... but in this battle I just felt like a complete noob...
Lesson - always double check the rule set of the battle.
My most brutal loss was from my first month, when I was really trying to perfect my inexpensive line ups and was one win away from bronze 1. The match was a 99 mana ruleset. I spent my entire clock laboring over every choice to make the perfect water magic deck, and I thought I had an auto win because my oppenent only played one card. However, it was Torhilo (magic resist) and Bortus the summoner (magic reduction). My full line up of magic creatures did exactly zero damage and Torhilo chortled his way to a flawless victory over my squad.
Oh man, I've definitely had a few of those. The effective counter-play is by far the most powerful thing in this game. If your opponent gets lucky (or you've been playing the same team a lot), it's so easy to get a guaranteed loss this way.

My loss was when I accidently opened my quest chest trying to click on battle. I was excited that I was going to be in silver 3 but, I miss clicked and loss the chance for another chest.

My most brutal splinterlands loss was early on when I started playing and had the chance to move up from Bronze 2 to Bronze 1 for the first time near the end of the season.
Long story short it ended up being a low cap Fire mirror match. We had about the same deck but his Serpentine Spy went first (darn RNG) and I lost and missed the chance to move up that time!

Yesterday I finally beat a Kron team! I was able to kill Kron with sneak as he was at the back and used affliction to combat his heals. Was a great moment!

My first crazy loss was when I just started playing that game and didn't know what are melee attack or range monsters xD So I put range monsters on the first line xD
My brutal loss happened during the tournament of clove. I fight hard during that tournament and was able to stay until round 7.
But when I fought the high power player of that tournament. With just llama and kron my cards did'nt even scratch his/her set. And our second battle are worse, cause I'm up against magic monster cards like the abyss.

my brutal lost are the speed rng (same card/same speed). follow it up with always missing when hitting flying or 1 less speed. it always feels like when its me who uses flying or higher speed, enemies dont miss XD..

I guess my most brutal loss was at bronze with 300 rating, I rented a bunch of gold foil cards(21 in total), fire, water and death decks and going from 100% absorption rate to 30% and after hours of battles, I was at 300 rating still.. it was horrible.. I kept losing and losing and losing and I felt like the worst player ever..

Well I guess everyone might be thinking about what kind of battle loss that they have, but mine is well.... more of thanks to my stupidity! Haha. Only got myself to blame for this. Well I just started the game not too long ago and am still trying to pick up the ropes. A couple of weeks ago, I pulled my first golden card, a Golden Silvershield Sheriff. I was trying to rent it out but as I was totally foreign to this space, I accidentally hit the sell button instead. In the end, my Golden Silvershield Sheriff was sold within seconds, at a whopping price of 4.99 DEC. Tried to contact the buyer in an attempt to reverse the trade but he was unwilling to. So yups... most brutal lost in this game!

Yeowch! That's a whole different kind of loss, and pretty un-arguably a much worse loss, since losing a battle doesn't take anything but rating points away from you. I guess on the plus side, at least it wasn't a Gold Legendary card, haha.

My most brutal (and frustrating) loss is a recent one. It was a trample and spreading fury rulesets match, I am too focused on dealing damage in the frontline with melee and ranged attack. In the end, I lost because my Frost Giant can't hit my enemies Phantom of the Abyss at all!

My most epic win was my furious chicken. It was a match with the condition restricting any usage of magic monsters. My lineup was thrash and I am down to my last 2 monsters, being a furious chicken with 2 shield (shield from summoner’s buff) and an axemaster as my last monster, while my opponent has 3 more monsters at play
I thought that this was a gone case and skipped the entire battle. Turns out, the match results stated that I won. I was confused and went to rewatch the match. Turns out, my furious chicken was indeed furious man. He practically dodged close to 3 attacks in a go, before being hit once on the shield, and subsequently dodging another 2 or so attack, before hitting the shield again. It went on while my axemaster was able to slowly mow down the opponents monsters!
The chicken was such a terror, I’ve turned vegetarian since then…
Many people underestimate just how furious that chicken is, haha!
I think Axemaster is one of the most under-rated cards in the game!

I don't think I have a single battle that sticks out as really great or really bad. So far, they've all kind of ended the way they should. But I did have a streak of 12 wins in a row that was pretty sweet. I desperately wanted to hit a 15 streak, but that's just how it goes sometimes! On the bright side, I have not had a 12-game losing streak, so I'm doing better in the win streak department! !PIZZA

My brutal loss was when I first joined a single elimination tournament which started at 3 AM my time, hoping to make a few additional DECs because of the low entry fee.
Woke up at 02:55, sign into the tournament, and waited for the first round to commence.
Lo and behold, I lost immediately to Scarred Llama + Undying Kron combo.
Couldn't go back to sleep after that.
That does sound like a rough one, especially since you woke up early just to get stomped :-/

My most ridiculous loss was when I was beginning in Splinterlands.
The battle was a very low mana battle and for some reason I just aligned a range card as a tank and a buff card with no attack whatsoever for the second one and I think I could have used another card but I declined it, so, it was an easy win for my opponent. Unfortunately I don't have videos, battle links or pictures from that moment, because it was very early on.

My most thrilling win happened at the first day of this season. I'm a Bronze noob with 450 power, and I got matched with some dude with 15k power. He was packed with epic cards and I just had my typical fire splinter strategy with Malric Inferno and a couple of cards I bought. I ended up winning because my cards attacked first when speed was the same.

Every game for me is brutal especially this season. I will only win 1 out of 10 and it really frustrate me. At 1 point there this player who uses all legendary gold card.while i am using the free cards.i just skip the game cauze i know the result already base on the cards.

My most ridiculous loss was some days ago in a Tournament, I was doing the things good in the tournament, but I was doing my team for the match, I delete my team because I don't like it, so I only put 1 card and press ready. I don't know why bit I press it. So obviously I lost.

One of my most hated losses was a battle in which I was facing a team...
I had a Silvershield Assassin with 3 Melee, Double Attack, and 3 Speed
She attacks twice on a 2 Speed character in the back, with 2 HP... No Evasion, No Flying.

That's two consecutive 10% misses in a row.
Okay. Cool, I can still win this, literally one hit will take out the damage that would kill my Silvershield Knight, which would nerf my damage. It's a 10% chance, there's no way... Next round:
