Battle Mage Secrets, Weekly Challenge, Heavy Hitters!

This one is all about knocking people down, but doesn’t add too much to the fight, unless you can set up the combo, then it becomes devastating to the enemy! So let’s learn about this rule coming to the table.

As it states, you have to have someone with stun for this to come into effect, unfortunately, for the battle that popped up for me with it, I didn’t think that stun worked well, so more of a run of the mill battle, but something you still need to worry about.
The battle that we are examining for this one is a mid-level mana cap at 45 plus:
Noxious Fumes: All Monsters start the battle Poisoned
Heavy Hitters: All Monsters have the Knock Out ability
Lost Magic: Monsters with Magic Attack may not be used in battles
This ruleset has a time limit on it due to the poison, unless immunity is involved, but knowing that it changed my choices a little bit, also not having magic means I need to get rid of shields quickly, otherwise it will not turn out well for me.
Here is the quick link to the battle, from the Gold Modern league: (Link) however, I will break it down, then you might want to watch again.
The opening shot:

First up, the Summoner:
I wanted fire on this one for a strong monster who has immunity, but having the extra melee damage can help, along with extra health, always important when poison is around.
The front line was the Antoid Platoon
Not a lot of health on this one, but that is not what I was going for, I was looking at the shield ability, knowing that magic will not come into play, shield is going to decrease what they can do to me, very important for staying alive a little bit longer.
Number 2 Ferox Defender:
This one is here for the Protect ability, and decent health, giving an extra 2 armor means that the Platoon and this guy will stick around a little bit longer.
Next up:
A very important card here, cost mana, but the immunity is the key, hopefully everyone else is dead, and they he comes knocking type of situation.
Duel purpose on this guy, the martyr ability, knowing this one will die from poison, it will buff the 2 cards on either side of him, meaning the forgotten one will hit harder, with more health as well.
The next part of the strategy is up with the Drybone Raider
Double attack is always nice, when it is ranged, that is a positive fight and one that will do more damage. The ability of Shatter though should come through for me on this one. Knowing no magic is there, but shields are available, the Shatter will take care of those that are out there.
Lastly:
Bringing up the rear on this one is similar to the Marksrat with the martyr ability, boosting the raider so that he ends up doing 8 damage a round, having this one in the back helps with any sneak attack the enemy might bring to the table.
My initial thoughts on this one is to use the defender and the antoid’s to stay up front for awhile while the poison takes down the enemy. Then having the Forgotten One swoop in and finish it. Meanwhile, having the drybone raider there to knockout the shields and do lots of damage to take them out of the fight so that my Forgotten One doesn’t have much to fight.
Right off the bat, them using Jacks means they have a speed advantage and they will cut through my shields, not a good start for me. The second round of poison really did a lot for me. Took out their guys, the shatter came into play well, only 2 left on my team were the Forgotten one and the Raider, just like I had planned, I won this one nicely!
Things to keep in mind with the Heavy Hitter ruleset:
• Stun can be devastating normally, pair it with this ruleset, golden!
• Phase and dodge are great abilities on this one, skips being hit
• Look for abilities that increase your shields and your health
• Speed is good to take them out first, and so you don’t get stunned
