It's another round of the splinterlands art contest and I haven't entered for a almost a month because I've been busy, it's so good to be back.

Es otra ronda del concurso de arte splinterlands y no he entrado en un casi un mes porque he estado ocupado, es tan bueno estar de vuelta.

For this round I chose to recreate Mimosa Nightshade, she's a legendary card in the death unit. I chose her because I love her outfit and the colours used, so dope!!

Para esta ronda he elegido recrear a Mimosa Nightshade, una carta legendaria de la unidad de la muerte. La elegí porque me encanta su atuendo y los colores utilizados, ¡¡¡tan chulos!!!

I started with a sketch of what I had in mind, I wanted the pose to be similar, loose hair, bright eyes and lots of colours. I finished the sketch and kept painting her skin and hair. I loved the original hair colour, so I kept it and added some details. I chose black for the jacket because I like it, but I also wanted her to have red somewhere, so I added it to her hands and the inside of her jacket.

Empecé con un boceto de lo que tenía en mente, quería que la pose fuera parecida, pelo suelto, ojos brillantes y muchos colores. Terminé el boceto y seguí pintando su piel y su pelo. Me encantaba el color original del pelo, así que lo mantuve y le añadí algunos detalles. Elegí el negro para la chaqueta porque me gusta, pero también quería que tuviera rojo en alguna parte, así que se lo añadí a las manos y al interior de la chaqueta.

At first I had problems with her pose and clothes, I erased and retouched until I got it right. Then I used the gradient tool to fill in the colours of the magic ball, used some brushes to paint some patterns around it and it came out well. Adding the glitter was the last thing I did because it makes a lot of difference, I set my blending mode to colour dodge and added some purple and blue tones to her hair, her clothes and the side of her face to make her stand out, I painted some red glitter in her eye area and worked on the background.

Al principio tuve problemas con la pose y la ropa, borré y retoqué hasta que lo conseguí. Luego utilicé la herramienta de degradado para rellenar los colores de la bola mágica, utilicé algunos pinceles para pintar algunos patrones a su alrededor y salió bien. Añadir el brillo fue lo ultimo que hice porque hace mucha diferencia, puse mi modo de mezcla a color dodge y añadí algunos tonos morados y azules a su pelo, su ropa y el lado de su cara para hacerla resaltar, pinté un poco de brillo rojo en el área de sus ojos y trabajé en el fondo.
