It's another round of the splinterlands art contest and this is my submission post. It took a while for me to decide on the card to recreate but I ended up with Camila Sungazer because I love the colours on the original art; her pose, expression and clothes, just beautiful!!

Es otra ronda del concurso de arte splinterlands y este es mi post de presentación. Me costó un poco decidirme por la carta a recrear pero al final me decidí por Camila Sungazer porque me encantan los colores del arte original; su pose, su expresión y su ropa, ¡¡¡simplemente preciosas!!!

My last few entries have been portraits and this time I wanted something different. The sketch phase of this work was a challenge for me, I've been practising figure drawing for some time, so I decided to try this pose. I got a good sketch to work with, flipped the canvas over and over to check for mistakes before moving on to painting. I started with base colours for his skin, white for her hair, I also painted the staff, gloves and clothes. At this point I felt a bit relaxed because she didn't look weird, then I added more details to the staff, I used a darker black colour to add details to her clothes and gloves. For her skin, I added shadows and highlights, I also painted lighter and darker colours on her hair and added more strands. Finally, I added some glow to her hair, purple on parts of her clothes and gloves, bright light behind her wand and chose a simple background. I hope you like it...

Mis últimas entradas han sido retratos y esta vez quería algo diferente. La fase de boceto de este trabajo fue un reto para mí, llevo algún tiempo practicando el dibujo de figuras, así que decidí probar esta pose. Conseguí un buen boceto con el que trabajar, le di la vuelta al lienzo una y otra vez para comprobar que no había errores antes de pasar a la pintura. Empecé con colores base para la piel de él, blanco para el pelo de ella, también pinté el bastón, los guantes y la ropa. En este punto me sentí un poco relajado porque no se veía rara, luego añadí más detalles al bastón, utilicé un color negro más oscuro para añadir detalles a su ropa y guantes. Para su piel, añadí sombras y reflejos, también pinté colores más claros y más oscuros en su pelo y añadí más mechones. Por último, añadí algo de brillo a su pelo, morado en partes de su ropa y guantes, luz brillante detrás de su varita y elegí un fondo sencillo. Espero que os guste...
