Splinterlands Art Contest | Venari Scout

Greetings everyone!!! Welcome to another lovely month and I hope it brings us everything good. It's another week and this is my submission post for the splinterlands art contest.

¡¡¡Saludos a todos!!! Bienvenidos a otro mes precioso y espero que nos traiga todo lo bueno. Otra semana más y este es mi post de presentación al concurso de arte de splinterlands.

For this week I chose to do a fanart of Venari Scout, his bunny looking ears was the first thing that caught my attention. Venari scouts are sient and dangerous assassins that either operate alone or move in groups.

Para esta semana he elegido hacer un fanart de Venari Scout, sus orejas con aspecto de conejito fue lo primero que me llamó la atención. Los exploradores venarianos son asesinos peligrosos que actúan en solitario o en grupo.

I started with a basic sketch of what I wanted, I really faced a big challenge with the whole art process because today didn't feel like a drawing kind of day. On days like this, my art barely come out as expected, I erase a lot, straight lines look crooked and I basically can't do anything right mostly because I have a lot of my mind. Then again, painting is one thing I really enjoy and quitting wasn't an option for me today, I needed it.
I finished the sketch and painted her skin, clothes, hair, with base colours. I then drew the bunny ears and facial features before moving on to add details because the whole works still looked basic, I enjoy the detailing part because this is where the work comes to life. More strands on her hair, more shades to her clothes and also lighter and darker highlights tobher skin. I also worked on the bunny ears, and added glow and lighting where necessary before closing a simple background. I hope you like it...

Empecé con un boceto básico de lo que quería, realmente me enfrenté a un gran reto con todo el proceso de arte porque hoy no se sentía como un día de dibujo. En días como este, mi arte apenas sale como esperaba, borro mucho, las líneas rectas se ven torcidas y básicamente no puedo hacer nada bien sobre todo porque tengo mucho de mi mente. Por otra parte, pintar es una cosa que realmente disfruto y dejarlo no era una opción para mí hoy, lo necesitaba.
Terminé el boceto y pinté su piel, ropa, pelo, con colores base. Luego dibujé las orejas del conejito y los rasgos faciales antes de pasar a añadir detalles porque el conjunto de la obra aún parecía básico, me gusta la parte de los detalles porque es donde la obra cobra vida. Más mechones en el pelo, más tonos en la ropa y también reflejos más claros y más oscuros en la piel. También trabajé en las orejas del conejito, y añadí brillo e iluminación donde era necesario antes de cerrar un fondo sencillo. Espero que os guste...
