On April 2 the new Reward System was introduced on Splinterlands.
The new Reward System has eliminated daily focuses and daily and seasonal rewards in chests.
The new Ranked System introduced GLINT tokens (in-game non-transferable tokens) and the Reward Shop

In this post I show a new important aspect to consider before buying Draws because some players may not have noticed it: in the new Reward System potions must be used carefully because they cost the same but produce very different effects based on the Draws purchased!

On Splinterlands, Potions are in-game items that are not transferable but can be purchased.

There are two types of potions that have different utilities:

• legendary potion
• alchemy potion

The potions can be purchased from the Potion Shop and have different costs depending on the potion and depending on the payment method used:

• Legendary Potion: 40 CREDITS or 40 DEC or 80 GLINT
• Alchemical Potion: 50 CREDITS or 50 DEC or 100 GLINT

Based on the current market values of DEC tokens, I calculated the dollar cost of each potion based on the payment method used.

GLINT are in-game tokens that are non-transferable and have no monetary value.
Between DEC and Credits it is better to use DEC to buy potions because the cost is lower.

The use of potions in opening a pack has not changed.

In the new Reward System, the use of potions has changed because it produces different effects based on the Draw purchased.

Whoever buys a legendary potion and uses it in the opening of 1 Initiate Draw spends $0.0359 to have +0.1% of finding a Soulbound legendary card

Those who buy a legendary potion and use it in the opening of 1 Master Draw spend 0.0359$ to have +3.2% of finding a Soulbound legendary card

**Who made the best choice?

If you have legendary or alchemy potions I suggest you choose carefully when to use them for Draws especially because in the new reward system you can no longer find them in chests.

It's just my advice but if you have legendary and alchemical potions and especially if you have few potions available I advise you to turn off the use of potions when you open Draws that have little chance of finding legendary and Gold Foil cards and turn them back on when you open Draw Elite and Master.

Potions usage is on by default and that means that if you have potions available you will use them when you open a card pack or when you open any Draw.

To deactivate the use of potions you have to go to the Settings section.

Then you have to turn on the choice Do not use potions for Reward cards and click on Save.

I have made this choice and will only reactivate potions when I open packs of cards or when I open Master Draw.

In my opinion it would be useful to have an option to activate/deactivate the use of potions in the Reward Shop.

Usa le Pozioni con Attenzione nel Nuovo Sistema di Ricompense!

Il 2 aprile è stato introdotto il nuovo Reward System su Splinterlands.

In questo post mostro un nuovo aspetto importante da considerare prima di acquistare i Draws perchè alcuni giocatori potrebbero non averlo notato: nel nuovo Reward System le pozioni vanno usate con attenzione perchè hanno lo stesso costo ma producono effetti molto diversi in base ai Draws acquistati!

Su Splinterlands le Pozioni sono elementi in-game non trasferibili ma acquistabili.

Ci sono due tipi di pozioni che hanno utilità diverse:

• pozione leggendaria
• pozione alchemica

Le pozioni possono essere acquistate dal Potion Shop e hanno costi diversi in base alla pozione e in base al metodo di pagamento utilizzato:

• Pozione Leggendaria: 40 CREDITS o 40 DEC o 80 GLINT
• Pozione Alchemica: 50 CREDITS o 50 DEC o 100 GLINT

In base ai valori di mercato attuali dei token DEC ho calcolato il costo in dollari di ogni pozione in base al metodo di pagamento utilizzato.

I GLINT sono token in game non trasferibili e non hanno un valore monetario.
Tra DEC e Credits conviene utilizzare i DEC per acquistare le pozioni perchè il costo è inferiore.

L'utilizzo delle pozioni nell'apertura di un pacco non è cambiato.
Nel nuovo Reward System l'utilizzo delle pozioni è cambiato perchè produce effetti diversi in base al Draw acquistato.

Chi acquista una pozione leggendaria e la utilizza nell'apertura di 1 Initiate Draw spende 0.0359$ per avere +0.1% di trovare una carta Soulbound leggendaria

Chi acquista una pozione leggendaria e la utilizza nell'apertura di 1 Master Draw spende 0.0359$ per avere +3.2% di trovare una carta Soulbound leggendaria

Chi ha fatto la scelta migliore?

Se hai pozioni leggendarie o alchemiche ti consiglio di scegliere con attenzione quando utilizzarle per i Draws soprattutto perchè nel nuovo reward system non è più possibile trovarle nei forzieri.

E' solo il mio consiglio ma se hai pozioni leggendarie e alchemiche e soprattutto se hai poche pozioni disponibili ti consiglio di disattivare l'utilizzo delle pozioni quando apri i Draws che hanno poche probabilità di trovare carte leggendarie e Gold Foil e di riattivarle quando apri i Draw Elite e Master.

L'utilizzo delle pozioni è attivo di default e questo vuol dire che se hai pozioni disponibili le utilizzerai quando apri un pacco di carte o quando apri qualsiasi Draw.

Per disattivare l'utilizzo delle pozioni devi andare nella sezione Settings

Poi devi attivare la scelta Do not use potions for Reward cards e cliccare su Save.

Io ho effettuato questa scelta e riattiverò le pozioni solo quando aprirò dei pacchi di carte o quando aprirò i Master Draw.

Secondo me sarebbe utile avere un'ozpione di attivazione/disattivazione dell'uso delle pozioni nel Reward Shop.
