There is talk that since the rise of Praetoria and the formation of the chaos gate, strange demons have been sighted amongst the clouds above the new continent. Some have described them as huge bat-like creatures with incredible speed, others swear they are flying invaders from the other world, but to the scholars in Draykh-Nahka who have seen their images there is no doubt, these are new, uncatalogued sub-species of dragon. For reasons unknown, these creatures spend most of their time hidden within the clouds, but from the limited studies done, it is evidenced they have a strong resistance to magic and a predilection for hunting at night when the moon is full.

Overview

The Dragons are very powerful and I always like to play with them, because you will have a lot of option to counter the enemy team. Most of the Dragon creatures has high health, damage and mana cost as well. 😇 The best ability of the Dragon Splinter is the option to mix the Dragon creatures with another Splinter, so it is possible to use the best monsters and summoners of the two Splinters.

Stats and abilities

Level	Ability	Description
Level.1	Flying	Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability.
Level.1	Void	Reduced damage from Magic attacks.
Level.3	Phase	Magic attack can miss this Monster (using the same hit/miss calculation as for Melee and Ranged attacks).

The Void Dragon is a high speed tank with the Void and Phase ability. His mana cost is only five, which is very good in a lower mana battles.

Market price for the Void Dragon

If you are going to burn and delete from the existence this Legendary card, it will yield 500 DEC if it is a regular card and 12,500 DEC if it was a gold card. None of the gold cards were burned until today!

This card is an Legendary card and it is part of the Chaos Legion set. One BCX of this card cost around 1,68 USD, so if you want a maximum level of this monster it will set you back with around 18,48 USD, which is quite cheap for a Legendary card. 😏

The price of the Void Dragon is quite steady in the last 3 month, which justifies how good is this card is.

The upcoming Battle ruleset

Ruleset	Description
Weak Magic	Magic attacks hit Armor before reducing Health..
Keep Your Distance	Monsters with Melee attack may not be used in battles.

In the Keep Your Distance ruleset try to keep no attack or higher HP monsters in the front. Keep higher speed Magic monsters with abilities like Flying, Dodge, Blind in the front. 😊

My lineup

	If you do not want to pay a fortune to rent for a legendary summoner Quix the Devious is the best choice. He has two de-buff ability against the enemy monsters. He will decrease the speed and health by one for all the enemy monsters. 😊
The Void Dragon is an excellent tank in the Keep Your Distance ruleset, because of his high speed, which will help a lot for him to survive the battle. 😁
	The Djinn Oshannus is one of the best reward card in the game. He has huge speed and health and also he is well protected against magic attack creatures and creatures with big damage. The Forcefield ability will make this Monster takes only 1 damage from attacks with power 5+. This monster is an excellent off-tank as well. 😉
The Angelic Mandarin is a two ranged attack creature with the ability of Triage. This ability will heals the friendly back-line Monster that has taken the most damage. I used him to get some protection against enemy Snipers. 😊
	The Merdaali Guardian has the ability to heal the monster in the first position and to restore some armor to the friendly Monster whose armor has taken the most damage. She is an excellent supporter for any setup. 👩‍⚕
I also used another healer, which is the Albatross. He is the cheapest healer in the game costing only one mana. I have tried to keep my tank alive at all cost in order to damage down my opponent tank quicker. 😌
	Igor Darkspear is a two cost mana creature and he has two ranged damage. The most important ability of his is the Stun, which means that when a Monster with Stun hits a target, it has a chance to stun the target causing it to skip its next turn. The trigger chance for the Stun is 50 percent. 😇

The Battle

My opponent brought a full gold foil team with General Sloan who will give +1 ranged attack to all of his friendly creatures. Luckily I picked the best summoner against General Sloan in order to counter him. 😁

My opponent brought a very strong team and I relied heavily on the Void and Phase abilities to dodge the incoming attacks. The two supporter of mine did a very good job keeping alive my tank.

My opponent didn't bring any Sniper monster, so he focused my tank only, which gave me a huge chance to win if I can dodge enough attacks.

The Void Dragon dodged a lot and secured my win even though this team I was faced against was very strong. 😉

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?

My strategy worked perfectly, because in these ruleset there was no melee attack creatures, so my opponent can not really bring any creature who will target my backline. I used two high speed creature at my front with the Void ability to minimise the incoming magic attack damage and thanks to the Phase ability they were being able to dodge the magic attacks as well. 😊

Currently the Dragons are my favorite Splinter, because they are versatile and quite strong to counter any team. Unfortunately most of the creatures are legendaries therefore they are very expensive to buy or rent. Apart from this they are worth to use and it is very difficult to prepare against them unless you use Dragons as well. 😇
