Primero realicé un boceto rápido de la estructura del personaje, lo realice hasta la cintura, de hecho quise dibujar nada mas el busto pero al final decidí hacerle mas cuerpo, Limpie un poco las líneas y realice la silueta con un gris base, luego oscurecí el fondo y en ese momento pensé mucho en la cuestión de que si dejo mas oscuro el fondo o la figura por que el traje es oscuro; Pues me dije -vamos a seguir dibujando a ver que me va diciendo la imagen.

First I made a quick sketch of the character's structure, I did it up to the waist, in fact I wanted to draw only the bust but in the end I decided to make it more body, I cleaned up the lines a bit and made the silhouette with a base gray, then I darkened the background and at that moment I thought a lot about the question of whether I leave the background or the figure darker because the suit is dark; Well, I told myself -let's continue drawing to see what he tells me the image.

Agregue algunas texturas al fondo y un color violeta muy desaturado, ya el entorno mostraba una neutralidad agradable para mi gusto. Luego agregar color fue una tarea muy sencilla pues la paleta de este personaje es muy reducida por que predominan los grises oscuros del traje. fue un dibujo de valores mas que de colores sin embargo quería un color en el ambiente pero todavía lo lo agregue. La luz provenía de la lampara que sostiene el Dr. así que fue mi guía para poner las luces y sombras en el personaje.

Add some textures to the background and a very desaturated violet color, the environment already showed a nice neutrality for my taste. Then adding color was a very simple task since the palette of this character is very small because the dark grays of the suit predominate. It was a drawing of values rather than colors, however I wanted a color in the environment but I still added it. The light came from the lamp that the Dr. holds, so he was my guide to put the lights and shadows on the character.

Bueno ya quería dar color al fondo; vi en la imagen de referencia que habían unos destellos violetas y pues fue el color que le agregue y volví a pensar si quería penumbras en el fondo o no. Pues lo hice de las dos formas y me ha gustado mas con el fondo un poco mas claro que el personaje porque me gustó ese contraste.

Well, I wanted to give color to the background; I saw in the reference image that there were some violet flashes and well, it was the color that I added to it and I thought again if I wanted shadows in the background or not. Well, I did it both ways and I liked it better with the background a little lighter than the character because I liked that contrast.
