Hola querida comunidad, es un placer estar con ustedes y traer mi cuarto fanart de @splinterlands, puede que me haya desaparecido por unos días pero no iba a pasar la oportunidad de seguir con estos retos. Para este dibujo escogí la carta llamada Celestial Harpy, una de las integrantes del clan de estás arpias que habitan en los picos de las montañas, criaturas pacíficas llenas de arte, música y libertad. Leer su descripción me hizo querer dibujarle porque el personaje representa los elementos que más adoramos los artistas, la belleza a través de la creatividad.

Hello dear community, it's a pleasure to be with you and bring my fourth fanart of @splinterlands, I may have disappeared for a few days but I was not going to pass the opportunity to continue with these challenges. For this drawing I chose the card called Celestial Harpy, one of the members of the clan of these harpies that inhabit the peaks of the mountains, peaceful creatures full of art, music and freedom. Reading her description made me want to draw her because the character represents the elements that we artists love the most, beauty through creativity.

Para tener una base más establecida de lo que quería hacer, busqué varias referencias en internet, al final posé en el espejo y me fijé de la posición que quería igualar en el dibujo, con libreta en mano, portamina y borrador empecé a bocetear. Todo salió como quería a excepción de algunas proporciones que fui cambiando a medida que iba dibujando al digital.

To have a more established base of what I wanted to do, I searched several references on the internet, at the end I posed in the mirror and fixed the position I wanted to match in the drawing, with notebook in hand, pencil and eraser I began to sketch. Everything came out as I wanted except for some proportions that I changed as I was drawing digitally.

Tomé foto y al abrir la app añadí en una capa el boceto, sobre él comencé a dibujar escogí el lápiz de grafito con una acentuación forzada a medias y con un grosor considerablemente delgado. Añadí más detalles a las alas, cambié el rostro y centré el dibujo.

I took a photo and when I opened the app I added in a layer the sketch, on it I began to draw, I chose the graphite pencil with a half forced accentuation and with a considerably thin thickness. I added more details to the wings, changed the face and centered the drawing.

Color🌈

Una paleta de colores fría con lilas y azules están presentes respetando la estética original del dibujo, por supuesto cambié un poco el color de la piel no lo quería tan rosado o morado como salía en la carta, sino más cálida, para humanizar un poco más al personaje místico. Como pueden ver a continuación funciona ya que agregué ciertas sombras y luces que juegan a su favor.

A cool color palette with lilacs and blues are present respecting the original aesthetics of the drawing, of course I changed a little the color of the skin, I didn't want it as pink or purple as it was on the card, but warmer, to humanize a little more the mystical character. As you can see below it works as I added certain shadows and lights that play in his favor.

Empecé por una base más rosada y plana.

I started with a pinker and flatter base.

Seguí estableciendo las luces del dibujo con un color blanco para luego añadir rosados, en diferentes tonos y hacer un sombreado, usé el lápiz difuminado con el lápiz de grafito.

I continued establishing the lights of the drawing with a white color to then add pinks, in different tones and make a shading, I used the pencil blurred with the graphite pencil.

Para las plumas utilicé azul cielo, azul marino, y púrpura en diferentes tonos. Hice sus ojos color cielo y quedaron como canicas brillantes por lo que amé dibujarlos.

For the feathers I used sky blue, navy blue, and purple in different shades. I made his eyes sky colored and they looked like shiny marbles so I loved drawing them.

Realicé un fondo con un color azul muy claro en transición con un amarillo casi blanco, con nubes hechas con pincel llamado cumulus, en tonos azules más oscuros, grises, blancos y amarillos.

I made a background with a very light blue color in transition with an almost white yellow, with clouds made with a brush called cumulus, in darker blue, gray, white and yellow tones.

Y con el conjunto de detalles, luces para las alas, maquillaje color rosa y algunas pinceladas más que tracé eventualmente así quedó el dibujo.

And with all the details, lights for the wings, pink make-up and some other brush strokes that I eventually traced, this is how the drawing turned out.

La carta es un encanto, hice un dibujo con una pose más pacífica que las que vi suelen ser dibujadas en otros fanarts, me encantó hacer a este personaje lo que representa me llenó de energía para terminarlo. Espero que les guste tanto como a mí.

The card is a charm, I made a drawing with a more peaceful pose than the ones I saw usually drawn in other fanarts, I loved making this character what it represents filled me with energy to finish it. I hope you like it as much as I do.
