[ENG/ESP] Splinterlands Art Contest Week 197- Nightmare

Greetings users of the #Blockchain community of #Splinterlands. Finally after so long I have decided to return to the weekly art contests so this time I want to share with all of you my entry for this week's #197 contest, so I will show you the procedure I used to make this drawing. This time I chose the character Nightmare which seemed to me a dark and very striking character so I wanted to challenge myself by doing it.

Before I start I would like to tell you that it took me some time to make this drawing because I hadn't practiced for a long time and I forgot some things but I can really say that I had a lot of fun in the process of this drawing, without more to say let's start.

Finalmente después de tanto tiempo he decidido volver a los concursos semanales de arte por lo que en esta ocasión quiero compartir con todos ustedes mi entrada para el concurso #197 correspondiente a esta semana, por lo que mostrare el procedimiento que utilice para realizar este dibujo. Esta vez elegi al personaje Nightmare el cual me parecio un personaje algo oscuro y muy llamativo por lo que me quise retar al hacerlo.

Antes de comenzar les comento que dure algo de tiempo haciendo este dibujo ya que tenía mucho tiempo que no practicaba y olvide algunas cosas pero realmente puedo decir que me divertí mucho en el proceso de dicho dibujo, sin más que decir comencemos.

Process | Procedimiento

• Step #1:
  I started by making the sketch of the character, which I tried to make it as clean as possible while giving some important details.

• Paso #1:
  Comencé realizando el boceto del personaje, el cual trate de hacerlo lo más limpio posible a la vez que daba algunos detalles importantes.

• Step #2:Once the sketch was finished I proceeded to make the lineart of the character.

• Paso #2:Una vez finalizado el boceto procedí a realizar el lineart del personaje.

• Step #3:Finished the lineart I proceeded to give the base colours of the body to the character and also the main shadows.

• Paso #3:Terminado el lineart procedí a darle los colores bases del cuerpo al personaje y también las sombras principales.

• Step #4: The next step was to work on the fire section which I worked in parts and then I joined them together at the end of each one.

• Paso #4:Lo próximo fue trabajar el apartado del fuego el cual trabaje por partes que después fui uniendo al finalizar cada uno.

• Step #5: Finished the previous step I finished the character placing some details of lights where the fire reflected.

• Paso #5: Finalizado el paso anterior termine el personaje colocándole algunos detalles de luces en donde reflejara el fuego.

• Step #6:To give a final effect to the drawing I decided to place a background in which I chose a purple colour to give light to the same to make the character stand out a little more.

• Paso #6:Para darle un efecto final al dibujo decidí colocarle un fondo en el que escogí un color violeta para darle iluminación al mismo para que el personaje destacara un poco más.
