Djinn-Cat Renova! 👑
Hello to all those aliens in the community, I hope everyone is doing great today. This time I want to share with you this fan-art illustration based on the character Djinn Renova from @splinterlands. As you may know lately I've been working with a kawaii drawing style, creating mini or small versions of the characters, so I've decided to create a kind of series in which I'm going to adapt kawaii animals (specially cats) together with the characters of the game. I hope you like this interpretation!
Hola a todos esos aliens de la comunidad, espero que todos estén excelente el día de hoy. En está ocasión quiero compartir con ustedes esta ilustración fan-art basada en el personaje Djinn Renova de @splinterlands. Como sabrán últimamente he venido trabajando con un estilo de dibujo kawaii, creando versiones minis o pequeñas de los personajes, por lo que he decidido crear una especie de serie en la que voy a adaptar animales kawaii (en especial gatos) junto con los personajes del juego !Espero les guste esta interpretación!
Creative Process | Proceso Creativo✏️
I started making a simple sketch combining some geometric figures and guide lines, having the base skeleton ready I added in different colours all the elements that the character would have based on the reference image. Once I had the sketch completely finished I proceeded to place the lineart, for this one I used a bigger line thickness in almost all the character.
Comencé realizando un boceto sencillo combinando algunas figuras geométricas y líneas guía, teniendo listo el esqueleto base fui agregando en diferentes colores todos los elementos que tendría el personaje basándome en la imagen de referencia. Una vez tenía el boceto totalmente terminado procedí a colocar el lineart, para este utilice un grosor de línea mayor en casi todo el personaje.
I started to place the base colours, I used a tone quite similar to the reference character's skin, clothes and hair as the cat's fur and for his spots. Once I had the base colours defined I started to apply some simple shadows to give some volume all over the character, finally I added a kind of light to his eyes just like the reference character has.
Empecé a colocar los colores base, utilice un tono bastante similar al de la piel, ropa y cabello del personaje de referencia como pelaje del gato y para sus manchas. Una vez tenía los colores bases definidos comencé a aplicar algunas sombras sencillas para dar algo de volumen en todo el personaje, finalmente le agregue una especie de luz a sus ojos al igual que los tiene el personaje de referencia.
To make the background I started with a pink colour as a base to which I added a circle just behind the character in a more saturated colour. Then in this circle, I made a pink and violet colour gradient as well as some clouds with which I played with their position and size, and as a final detail I wanted to finish decorating the background with some yellow and blue particles with a little saturation in the colours of the illustration which gave it the finish I was looking for.
Para realizar el fondo partí de un color rosa como base al que le agregue un circulo justo por detrás del personaje en un color más saturado. Luego en dicho circulo, realice un degrade de colores rosa y violeta así como unas nubes con las que fui jugando con su posición y tamaño, además como detalle final quise terminar de decorar el fondo con algunas partículas de color amarillo y azul con un poco de saturación en los colores de la ilustración lo cual le dio el acabo que estaba buscando.

The Planet used its mighty forces to destroy each enchanted vessel containing the trapped souls of Belludae. Each of them was trapped by one of the magical elements. They would henceforth be called Djinn, and their service would be complete once the Planet was free of destruction at the hands of the Legion of Chaos - Splinterlands.
El Planeta usó sus poderosas fuerzas para destruir cada recipiente encantado que contenía las almas atrapadas de Belludae. Cada uno de ellos estaba atrapado por uno de los elementos mágicos.
