A big hello community! Welcome everyone to my new post. This time I want to share with you my participation in this great social media challenge from @splinterlands, celebrating the great arrival of Rebellion. For this I decided to make an illustration based on one of his great new characters, this is Mantaroth, this is a kind of humanoid Toro, I just saw him and I really liked his design so today I will talk a little bit about my process to make this amazing character, I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

¡Un gran saludo comunidad! Sean todos bienvenidos a mi nuevo post. En esta oportunidad quiero compartir con ustedes mi participación a este gran reto de social media de @splinterlands, celebrando la gran llegada de Rebellion. Para ello he decidido elaborar una ilustración basada en uno de sus grandes nuevos personajes, se trata de Mantaroth, este es una especie de Toro humanoide, a penas lo vi y me gusto muchísimo su diseño por lo que el día de hoy les hablare un poco sobre mi proceso para elaborar a este increíble personaje. ¡Espero les guste y gracias por pasar por aquí!

First I looked for several references of Toros, although at first my idea was to make a kawaii character, I decided in the end for a more realistic design that kept the details of the original character. I began elaborating the sketch, this I was dividing it by colours not to get lost with the strokes, once I had my sketch ready I was applying the lineart to the character with a brush of intermediate thickness.

Primero busque varias referencias de Toros, aunque en un principio mi idea era realizar a un personaje kawaii, me decidí al final por un diseño un poco mas realista que conservara los detalles del personaje original. Comencé elaborando el boceto, este lo fui dividiendo por colores para no perderme con los trazos, una vez tenia mi boceto listo fui aplicando el lineart al personaje con un pincel de grosor intermedio.
