Another week has passed, and I have just under a month to complete the first challenge I set for myself. There has been some good progress made, which I will detail below. Also, this week we saw the first month completed with the new Soulbound Reward edition cards, and somehow the RNG gods were in my favor, and I managed to snag not one, not two, but three Gold Foil Legendary monsters of Aves Sturgis on my alt account. Complete bonkers, and I am eagerly awaiting to see once these Soulbound cards are available to be sold on the market to gauge their value.

Obtain a complete regular foil Chaos Legion set playable in Gold Leagues by the end of 2023 Q1 - Update 4

This past week we saw the release of the final airdrop for the Chaos Legion set. The Legendary summoner from the Dragon unit, Lily Shieldpaw, was released into the wild, and I got two regular cards as part of the airdropped. This is very much welcomed, as the current price for a single card is $28.

We also saw the final stages of the Chaos Legion set, with the last remaining packs being sold, which affected the card prices. Notably, the Torrent Fiend increased from $0.80 for a single BCX to $4.244 for a single BCX. That’s an enormous increase of 430%. Not too pleased with that, as I could’ve picked it up for a steal the previous week. Oh well, not much we can do about that, and I would put it down to the market valuing the card and its importance in the battle for the Water unit.

Key Stats

I spent $43.42 on six cards and completed the Chaos Legion Reward edition set. I bought one BCX of Lily Shieldpaw to add to the two airdropped to me, a level two Venator Kinjo and one BCX of Jared Scar. So with under four weeks remaining to complete the first challenge, I am chuffed to have made some decent progress this week.
