Another week has passed in my challenge to owning a complete Chaos Legion Regular Foil Set and Land, and I will closely monitor and transparently share all details about the challenge in these posts.

Road To The Glory Land - Update 23

Over the past week, we saw the latest update to splinterlands with the removal of collection power requirements for advancing to higher leagues, making way for a reward multiplier system based on staked SPS. This multiplier considers both owned and delegated SPS, offering players a new method to increase their staked SPS. To complement this change, the introduction of the SPS Rental Market allows players to rent staked SPS delegations through a bid system, offering further opportunities for growth. On a personal note, I am celebrating my three-year anniversary on splinterlands this week. Reflecting on my journey, it's incredible how much has changed since then, both in the world and within the game itself. From the challenges posed by the global pandemic to the discovery of crypto gaming and NFTs, splinterlands has been a transformative experience. Change is an inherent part of this dynamic community, and while adjustments like the new SPS staking requirements may raise concerns, it's important to trust in the splinterlands team's dedication to the game's long-term future and the best interests of its players.

Land Budget

Over the past week, I made an additional $18 contribution to the Land fund, steadily building up my resources in anticipation of acquiring another Land plot. However, I'm still undecided about which specific plot to purchase. Additionally, I've been considering converting my HBD stack into DEC, as the price of DEC has slightly decreased recently. This dip in price presents a potential opportunity to buy before the Land 1.5 release.

Land Market

The Land Index has shown a growth of 5.5%, indicating a general stabilization of Land plot prices. Most Land plots have either maintained or increased in value, with only two types experiencing a decline. During the recent town hall meeting, no specific date was mentioned for the release of Land 1.5 into the market. This allows for more time to accumulate funds and carefully analyze Land calculations to determine the ideal Land plot for purchase.
