How to turn $2.25 into $0.64. Week 12 of opening 52 Chaos packs in 52 weeks.

I think back to the good old days. Somebody put Blurryface on the playlist. Week 12 is making me doubt again.
I am opening 52 packs in 52 weeks of Splinterlands Chaos Legion. I purchased the packs at around $2.25 on Tribaldex, which is a great discount from the retail price of $4 a pack on Splinterlands. However, packs are currently $2.18 as of today on Tribalex.

So, will I have a profit at the end of the year? Things might still be heading in that direction because of a couple of strong weeks, but Week 12 was so disappointing!

The return on this pack was only $0.64. The cumulative cost at this point is $27.00, while the return is now at $46.99.

Will Tower defense increase the value of Chaos cards or will Riftwatchers decrease the value of Chaos cards? Leave a comment and name a card that would be a nice card to have delegated to you for a season. If I have it available, I will send it your way.

If you want to play a great Play 2 Earn game, use my referral code for 5 free cards delegated to you for the first 30 days and a bonus of 5 free cards given to you if purchase a Summoner's Spellbook https://splinterlands.com?ref=methodofmad

Seems like you get double after the calculation or even more than that of what you use to buy it

Opening packs sure can feel that way, because the market is flooded with these cards. That's why I sold half of my Riftwatcher packs, and used that money to buy Chaos legion cards of the market.

I guess it is about volume. But I do feel like it is more gambling than anything else. The approach of buying individual cards is probably more prudent. !BEER

I think you're doing pretty well! Although this time you did not get a good hand!
