Today we discuss some takeaways from the recent Town Hall and look at some of the key things we want to cover. As always, I recommend going through all of the whole thing as it's very informative. Lengthy but very good content.

Zyriel Release!

Zyriel has been released and while I haven't personally seem gameplay on it, I'm pretty sure it'll make waves soon. Some of our key TeamPH members like @mangomayhem has already secured their max level ones so Champ players be on the lookout! We covered some potential Yays or Nays on what the card is and suffice to say, the card isn't cheap. It's probably going to end up in more rarified air as the hefty price tag is a big gate keeper for card ownership.

One other thing to note too is that the sexy card background when looking at stats. Currently, it's the only one of it's kind since it's our first dual element card. Lastly, the recent maintenance should have covered for the card to be available for use.

Anybody else looking to get their own Zyriel for their lineup?

Born Again Ruleset

Another bombshell that was dropped was the Born Again ruleset. This ruleset gives all cards the previously exclusive Runi ability called Rebirth.

Rebirth is as follows: When this Monster dies it will self-resurrect with 1 Health once per battle.

Some interesting food for thought on this one in particular too like:

• Resurrect lineups - which one goes first resurrect or rebirth? Off the top of my head, I would say rebirth comes first.
• Martyr lineups could potentially become even more prominent and can pair up with resurrect lineups even more so we could see a big meta shift with this ruleset in play
• A potential way to circumvent poison rulesets. Remember, when a monster gets resurrected or uses rebirth, the poison ruleset debuff gets removed. This could potentially pair well for that ruleset, too.

Lots of interesting interactions we'll need to explore when we get it and I'm expecting to see it in the Weekly Battle Mage Secrets at some point.

One question this poses though is that: What happens to Runis?

I understand that Runis have utility more towards land and that there isn't enough to go around so we won't potentially see them in matches much when land 1.5 comes out but some Runi owners might feel that they got shafted, too.

Land Sneak Peeks

Nate provided us with some eye candy on some images on the land interface. Our resident land expert @leveluplifeph has been waiting for this for 2 years so progress towards this always gets him hyped.

Based on the images, there'll be more informative summaries we'll be able to get such as boosts used, requirements as well as production or productivity.

Weirdbeard also mentioned that Land 1.5 would be released in mid June so we're only roughly a month and a half out! Take this with a GRAIN (get it) of salt but there could be delays but the team seems very keen on sticking to a June release at the very least.

I don't see where cards are staked yet so maybe next town hall's update might cover it.

Overall, the town hall was informative as always and I'm sure that the many people who are waiting on certain updates whether they be guild updates, land updates, card updates or anything else will have something to sink their teeth into.
