Splinterlands is a card game that uses blockchain technology. These cards are unique non-fungible tokens that can be owned by players. This game utilizes web 3.0 technology and is powered by the Hive blockchain. Each card has unique abilities and stats that a player must combine to fit specific battle rules. The goal is to win and be rewarded with cards, SPS, and potions. Some cards can be sold on a 3rd party market if players want to convert them to DEC and monetize them. You can battle on the leaderboard in modern or wild formats, brawls, and tournaments.

This week's content is about one of my battles in brawl. Brawls are battles between guilds and winning this competition will result in rewards.

I called my battle here "Untouchable" since my enemy never had a chance to damage my monster lineup. However, this might be due to my better combination of summoner and monsters compared to the battle rules.

BATTLE RULES
The rule sets for my battle were fog of war, going the distance and are you not entertained. Fog of war allows monster to lose the sneak, snipe and opportunity ability. Going the distance allows only ranged attack monsters in the battle. Lastly the rule are you not entertained will allow gladiator card per battle. The mana required for this battle is 54 and elements allowed to join the battle are water, fire and death.

For this battle, I prefer to use death element since I have better monsters on my card decks and I think Astral Entity would be best for this. My enemy picked Thaddius Brood.

In my battle, it only took 2 rounds. What was fortunate was that I did not receive any damage from my enemy. The key takeaway here is the use of speed so that you can attack first and inflict damage on their monsters, as only a few range monsters have close range ability. Killing his monsters that have close range ability quickly will be a disadvantage, as the next in line in the position will be range monsters. Remember that monsters with range attack cannot attack in the first position.

TATIANA BLAYDE

I opened a few packs of Gladius packs this season and got Tatiana Blade. This lady is powerful and will be very useful because of her abilities. I would like to upgrade her to the maximum level since she has close-range, bloodlust, dodge, inspire, and true strike abilities. Additionally, she is a speedy monster and what I like most is that she belongs to the neutral element.

As we enjoy battling in Splinterlands, it is always nice to appreciate the beauty of the places we live in. The picture below shows one of the tourist spots in Isabela, Philippines - the Magat Hydropower Plant. This plant has a capacity of 388 Megawatts and provides irrigation to the province, as well as serving as a flood control.
