It's holiday time and the end of season was at 3AM. But I clearly failed to perform in the late evening battle after a short night of sleep.

Throughout the season I've been struggling more than usual in ranked play. A lot of new players appear to have broken into the top ranks, and many of them have play modes that I still have to get used to. This is also the first time in quite a while that I never managed to even get inside the Top-50 eligible scores. And all that despite putting in 3-4 hours of effort in the home stretch!

My highest rated win was against a Neoxian team account I think? But please do correct me if I'm wrong on that :).

However, the tournaments were a different story fortunately! I had quite a few reward placements, but most notably I won the Untamed Gold Encased Diamonds for the very first time in my life! So far I believe I've only finished 3rd in a DCity tournament once, and never inside the top 3 in any other tournament, so I'm very pleased with the win! Along with two other Top 10 finished I can easily say that this was my best tournament season so far!

There were two tournaments with very big pots (one with Beta Packs and a Brawler) where I drew a very strong opponent in the first round, and then got eliminated unfortunately.

54 commons, 2 rares, 1 epic and not a single GF. Although statistically possible, I seem to have been so unlucky that I can't help but wonder whether they changed something in the rewards distribution?

Most likely not (they'd surely have announced it). And in that case, I simply have been VERY unlucky with rewards this time around.

Those numbers look absolutely spectacular! However, I'm pretty sure they're completely wrong though ;). @kiokizz, perhaps something worth looking into for the next edition? :)

Every Splinterlands season seems to become harder than the last one, but I will keep trying! I obtained a fully levelled Axemaster, so perhaps that will help me to get back into the Top 50 next season?

Outside of the season itself, I very much enjoy the new brawling system and look forward to Chaos Legion! One suggestion though: does anyone how the Brawler Merit rewards are exactly calculated? I seem to have trouble finding the formula unfortunately :/.
