Hey Aliens, I hope you have a great weekend.

Welcome back to one of my participations for splinterlands, today I have chosen a unit called Possessed Puppet belonging to the Death category, it is a common card of the new edition. This monster seemed to me very cute and scary at the same time, and it really reminded me a lot of Anabel hehe, so I wanted to make a fan art of her. Let's start with the process... 😜

Hey Aliens, espero que tengan un gran fin de semana.

Bienvenidos de nuevo a una de mis participaciones para splinterlands, hoy he elegido una unidad llamada Possessed Puppet perteneciente a la categoría Muerte, es una carta común de la nueva edición. Este monstruo me pareció muy tierno y tenebroso a la vez, y la verdad es que me recordó mucho a Anabel jeje, así que quise hacer un fan art de ella. Empecemos con el proceso.... 😜

First I started to make my sketch I wanted to make a somewhat unbalanced pose for being a puppet, this time I went back to guide me with the 3d model of the clip studio paint because I wanted to find a way to make it really a possessed puppet, I integrated two more pairs of arms to this one to give to notice that a spirit possesses it, the latter would hold the knives so that the main structure would look innocent.

Primero realice mi boceto quería hacer una pose un tanto desequilibrada por ser un títere, esta vez volví a guiarme con el modelo 3d del clip studio paint porque quería encontrar la manera de que realmente fuera un títere poseído, a este le integré dos pares de brazos más para dar a notar que un espíritu lo posee, estos últimos sostendrían los cuchillos para que la estructura principal se viera inocente.

Then I began to paint starting with the skin and clothes to leave the last details of his monster face and hair. To appreciate the details I modified the position of the character and began to make the background before continuing with the arms, since I still didn't have very clear what I was going to do on them.

Luego comencé a pintar empezando por la piel y la ropa para dejar los últimos detalles de su monstruosa cara y su cabello. Para apreciar los detalles modifiqué la posición del personaje y empecé a hacer el fondo antes de continuar con los brazos, ya que aún no tenía muy claro lo que iba a hacer en ellos.

For the background I made this doll in a cave, I know this might be unusual, but since it is a monster I thought it was pretty cool to place it in a cave with some skulls scattered around the place, to which I also added a big pool of blood.

Para el fondo hice este muñeco en una cueva, sé que esto puede ser inusual, pero ya que es un monstruo pensé que era bastante interesante colocarlo en una cueva con algunos cráneos esparcidos por el lugar, a lo que también añadí un gran charco de sangre.

Although I really liked how everything was turning out, I had to play a bit with the saturation and background lighting to get something more spooky. Once finished I did the arms, to which I added a color gradient and line art to give it a ghostly look, it looked a bit simple so I also added some textures and lighting in certain areas.

This is the final result, I was working on this illustration for several days and I'm happy with the result, I hope you like it too, see you next time.

Aunque me gustaba mucho como estaba quedando todo, tuve que jugar un poco con la saturación y la iluminación del fondo para conseguir algo más tétrico. Una vez terminado hice los brazos, a los que añadí un degradado de color y line art para darle un aspecto fantasmagórico, se veía un poco simple así que también añadí algunas texturas e iluminación en ciertas zonas.

Este es el resultado final, estuve trabajando en esta ilustración durante varios días y estoy contenta con el resultado, espero que les guste a ustedes también, hasta la próxima.
