Hey hivers! how are you? hope you are doing well.

Welcome to a new art post, these last two days I've been working on this fan art of Wood Nymph, it's my first fan art made in digital art, but it's not the first time I choose this card hehe.

For this occasion I wanted to mix the semi-realistic art with an Art Nouveau background, I gave up with this style a long time ago, but I wanted to try it again, I was fascinated with the final result, I'll share it with you below.

Bienvenidos a un nuevo post de arte, estos dos últimos días he estado trabajando en este fan art de Wood Nymph, es mi primer fan art hecho en arte digital, pero no es la primera vez que elijo esta carta jeje.

Para esta ocasión quise mezclar el arte semi-realista con un fondo Art Nouveau, hace tiempo que abandoné este estilo, pero quise intentarlo de nuevo, quedé fascinada con el resultado final, se los comparto a continuación.

Reference

First I started with my sketch, then I placed the base colors of the skin and started to work on it, it is quite a lot of work to make the skin in this green tone, it cost me a lot to get an excellent finish, but I didn't give up until I achieved it. I have to say that I have improved a lot in the proportions and shading of the body, it is very satisfying to see your processes and evolutions :D .

Primero empecé con mi boceto, luego coloqué los colores base de la piel y empecé a trabajar en ella, es bastante trabajo hacer la piel en este tono verde, me costó mucho conseguir un excelente acabado, pero no me rendí hasta lograrlo. Tengo que decir que he mejorado mucho en las proporciones y sombreado del cuerpo, es muy satisfactorio ver todos tus procesos y evoluciones :D .

Then I continued with the hair and when I finished I had added a flower that I reused from another illustration, but seeing that the character was totally green changed my plans for the background, I needed to generate a nice contrast, so I started to use autumn colors to highlight the character more.

Luego seguí con el cabello y al terminar le había agregado una flor que reutilicé de otra ilustración, pero al ver que el personaje era totalmente verde cambiaron mis planes para el fondo, necesitaba generar un bonito contraste, así que empecé a usar colores otoñales para resaltar más al personaje.

I like the way the character looks with the flat background but still quite detailed, it makes her stand out more. This is the final result, I hope you like it. See you next time.

Me gusta como queda el personaje con el fondo plano pero aún bastante detallado, hace que destaque más. Este es el resultado final, espero que les guste. Hasta la próxima.
