"Zix decided to embark on a journey to a destination that would give him peace and happiness, since in the small magical town of Wood, there was only misfortune and sadness. Discussions, fights and other things were what was seen in the small town and Zix just wanted to find a place that would allow him to live fully and without any anguish. It was then that when night fell in little Wood, Zix took what little he had and simply left the town. Wherever he went, he spread part of him, leaving his essence of peace and happiness, through his spores, which besides making humans feel a sense of tranquility, helped the environment, as these creatures help in part to regenerate nature. Zix wandered everywhere, trying to find a place that would allow him to be at peace with himself and he found it, because when he arrived at that beloved and longed-for place, he only had a few offshoots of himself left. Exhausted and without much strength, he let himself fall on the ground and looking at the moonlight he realized how wonderful it was to undertake this journey, since he could finally rest in peace."

"Zix decidió emprender un viaje hacia un destino que le diera paz y felicidad, ya que en el pequeño pueblo mágico de Wood, solo se vivían desgracias y tristezas. Discusiones, peleas y demás cosas eran las que se veían en el pequeño pueblo y Zix solo quería encontrar un lugar que le permitiera vivir plenamente y sin ninguna angustia. Fue entonces que llegando la noche en el pequeño Wood, Zix tomo lo poco que tenia y simplemente dejo el pueblo. Por donde pasaba, esparcía parte de él, dejando su esencia de paz y felicidad, por medio de sus esporas, las cuales y ademas de hacer sentir una sensación de tranquilidad en los humanos, ayudaban al medio ambiente, ya que estas criaturas ayudan en parte a regenerar la naturaleza. Zix deambulo por doquier, tratado de encontrar un lugar que le permitiera estar en paz consigo mismo y lo encontró, ya que cuando llego a ese amado y anhelado lugar, solo le quedaban unos pocos retoños de él mismo. Agotado y sin muchas fuerzas, se dejo caer en el suelo y mirando a luz de la luna pudo darse cuenta lo maravilloso que fue emprender este viaje, ya que al fin podía descansar en paz."

When I came across this letter, I immediately remembered that last year I made a character like this, a little more humanized, but that really made me have a little interest in making a version of this letter, so I grabbed my sketchbook and started drawing.

Cuando me tope con esta carta, de inmediato recordé que el año pasado hice un personaje como este, un poco más humanizado, pero que realmente me hizo tener un poco de interés en hacer una versión de esta carta, así que tome mi cuaderno de dibujos y comencé a dibujar.

I started making the sketch and remembering my drawing from last year, I gradually integrated elements from the original character, which actually were not many, since the character is just a mushroom and doesn't have much more, so I gradually made my sketch.

Comencé haciendo el boceto y recordando mi dibujo del año pasado, fui integrando poco a poco elementos del personaje original, que en realidad no fueron muchos, ya que el personaje solo es un hongo y no tiene mucho más, así que poco a poco fui haciendo mi boceto.

When I had the sketch done, I started to work on the color, taking as a reference the color palette of the chart, which basically was just brown, red, green and purple, nothing more, a palette that I really liked, because it was simple and easy. To finish, the only thing I had to do were the details, linear and some very subtle shadows and that was it, that would be all.

Cuando tuve el boceto hecho, comenzar a trabajar el color, tomando como referencia la paleta de color de la carta, que básicamente era solo marrón, rojo, verde y morillo, sin más, una paleta que realmente me gusto, porque era simple y sencilla. Ya para culminar, lo único que me toco hacer fueron los detalles, linear y algunas sombras muy sutiles y listo, eso seria todo.
