I don't know why, but lately I'm becoming a big fan of drawing aquatic characters and even more if they are mermaids or tritons. When I saw this character in the cards section of @splinterlands, I didn't hesitate for a second to draw it, so I saved it and started to make the sketch for my version.

No se por que, pero últimamente me estoy volviendo muy fan de dibujar personajes acuáticos y más sin son tritones o sirenas. Cuando vi este personaje en la sección de cartas de @splinterlands, no dude in un segundo en dibujarlo, así que lo guarde y comencé a hacer el boceto para mi versión.

I wanted to do my version of the character with just the face, as usual in my work, since it's what I like to draw the most, so this drawing was not going to be an exception. Little by little I worked on the sketch and the truth is, it didn't take me long to get it ready. The original character didn't have many physical elements, only the scepter and a chain, but what I integrated in my version was the scepter, because I liked it much more than the chain.

Quise hacer mi versión del personaje solo del rostro, como es de costumbre en mis trabajos, ya que es lo que más me gusta dibujar, así que este dibujo no iba a hacer la excepción. Poco a poco fui trabajando el boceto y la verdad, no me tomo mucho tiempo en tenerlo listo. El personaje original no tenia muchos elementos físicos, solo el cetro y una cadena, pero lo que integre en mi versión fue el cetro, porque me gusto mucho más que la cadena.

After I had the sketch done, I went to work the color throughout the character. If we look at the original illustration, the character has a cold color palette, in shades of blue, green and finally yellow, so it was the color palette I used to work my version. At the end and to finish with the drawing, I made the final details like the linear and some brightness in it and that's it.

Luego que tuve el boceto hecho, me fui a trabajar el color en todo el personaje. Si observamos la ilustración original, el personaje tiene una paleta de color fría, en tonos azules, verdes y finalmente amarillo, así que fue la paleta de color que use para trabajar mi versión. Al final y para culminar con el dibujo, hice los detalles finales como el linear y algunos brillos en el mismo y listo.
