Splinterlands Art Contest # 254 / Baby Unicorn

Today I want to share with you my entry for the @splinterlands Art contest with the card "Baby Unicorn".

I am a fan of unicorns. I love these beings that radiate beauty, magic and charm.

In fact, in my first entry for this contest I made my interpretation of the card "Sacred Unicorn".

Apart from mermaids, unicorns are one of the most recurring themes in my artistic creations.

I must confess that I also consider the unicorn as a kind of Family Animal Totem, something like the protective spirit of my family.

This idea came from when I went to visit my aunt in the mountains. My family history is a bit complicated which I may have told you about another time.

The fact is that in her house there was a comb of a unicorn that belonged to my grandmother Carmen and my aunt told me that she loved unicorns.

I never saw my grandmother again, as my parents separated when I was a little girl and I was not able to contact them until I was an adult.

However, despite the distance and the fact that we had not seen each other for a long time, we shared our love for these magical creatures.

Baby unicorns are much gentler than their older relatives. They already possess magical powers, but they are simply adorable and don't yet realize that they are sacred. 1

Creative Process

To make the baby unicorn I used the help of the Ausbit bot in Discord to create an image with artificial intelligence.

The first prompt I used was the following:

I loved the result but wanted something more Little Pony so I changed the prompt a bit adding other details.

While I really liked the images, the colors didn't quite match what I had in mind, so I decided to edit it a bit using the help of a mobile photo and video editor Inshot.

I gave it a more blue tone in the hair and added a background with some stars until it finally gave the result I was hoping for. How do you like it?

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi participación para el concurso Splinterland Art con la carta "Baby Unicorn".

Soy una fan de los unicornios. Me encantan estos seres que irradian belleza, magia y encanto.

De hecho, en mi primera participación para este concurso realicé mi interpretación de la carta "Sacred Unicorn".

Aparte de las sirenas, los unicornios son unos de los temas que más se repiten en mis creaciones artísticas.

Debo confesar que también considero al unicornio como una especie de Totem Animal Familiar, algo así como el espíritu protector de mi familia.

Esta idea surgió de cuando fui a visitar a mi tía en la montaña. Mi historia familiar es un poco complicada que tal vez le comenté en otra oportunidad.

El hecho es que en su casa había una peineta de un unicornio que pertenecía a mi abuelita Carmen y mi tía me comentó que le encantaban los unicornios.

Yo nunca volví a ver a mi abuela, ya que mis padres se separaron cuando era una pequeña niña y no pude contactarlos hasta que fui adulta.

Sin embargo, a pesar de la distancia y de no habernos visto en mucho tiempo compartiamos nuestro gusto por estas mágicas criaturas.

Acerca de esta carta puedo deciros que:

Proceso Creativo

Para realizar el bebé unicornio utilicé la ayuda del bot de Ausbit en Discord para crear una imágen con inteligencia artificial.

El primer prompt que usé fue el siguiente:

Me encantó el resultado pero quería algo más Little Pony así que cambié un poco el prompt agregándole otros detalles.

Aunque me gustaban mucho las imágenes, los colores no se correspondían exactamente a lo que tenía en mente, así que decidí editarlo un poco usando la ayuda de un editor de fotos y vídeo para móviles Inshot.

Le di una mayor tonalidad azul en el cabello y agregué un fondo con algunas estrellas hasta que finalmente dió el resultado que estaba esperando. ¿Qué tal les parece?
