Splinterlands Art Contest Week 231 | LUX VEGA

Hola hermosa comunidad, como están?.. Les comparto mi participación para el concurso de arte de @splinterlands 231!

En esta ocasión me ha gustado mucho la carta de Lux Vega, así que quise dibujarla a mi estilo, una mezcla entre comic y anime
Lo que más me gustó de esta ilustración fueron los colores y la anatomía del personaje.

Hi beautiful community, I share with you my participation for the @splinterlands art contest 231.
This time I really liked the card of Kron the undying, so I wanted to draw it in my style, a mix between comic and anime.
What I liked most about this illustration were the colors and the anatomy of the character.

Me encanta el diseño de este personaje, sus colores y sobre todo lo que mas me gusta fueron ese poder que tiene con las cartas, por eso quise darles mucho protagonismo en esta ilustración
Partí con este boceto general tratando de centrar toda la atención en las cartas y darle ese tono místico que la caracteriza

I love the design of this character, her colors and above all what I like the most is the power she has with the cards, that's why I wanted to give them a lot of prominence in this illustration.
I started with this general sketch trying to focus all the attention on the cards and give it that mystical tone that characterizes her.

En este punto hice un boceto más definido para entender mejor la ilustración, la posición y expresiones que quise mostrar

At this point I made a more defined sketch to better understand the illustration, the position and expressions I wanted to show.

Realizado el boceto ahora sí, empezamos con el Line Art, mi parte favorita de dibujar, es algo muy relajante, en este punto defino cada parte del personaje como musculatura, el cabello, absolutamente todo

Once the sketch is done, we start with the line art, my favorite part of drawing, it is very relaxing, at this point I define each part of the character as musculature, hair, absolutely everything.

Luego de definir el line art y las sombras paso a colorear todo el dibujo con los colores planos, así definir cada parte del personaje

After defining the line art and the shadows, I will color the whole drawing with the flat colors, thus defining each part of the characters.

Para esta ilustración use otro método de sombreado, no se si fue mejor elección ya que quería probar y salir un poco de mi zona de confort, sombree en tonalidades de grises y luego superpuse el color por encima, aun debo practicarlo para poder pulirlo

For this illustration I used another shading method, I don't know if it was a better choice because I wanted to try and get out of my comfort zone, I shaded in shades of gray and then superimposed the color on top, I still have to practice it to polish it.

Y por ultimo agregamos las contraluces, como había contado en post anteriores es algo que me encanta hacer ya que le da mucha vida al dibujo

And finally we add the backlighting, as I had told in previous posts is something I love to do because it gives a lot of life to the drawing.

Y este es el resultado final, espero que les guste, quería probar un estilo diferente esta vez, a ver que les parece🤠.
