This time I share with you my submission for the @splinterlands art contest
A few days ago, I watched a movie called "Dungeons & Dragons," in which a character was a beautiful druid. I've been wanting to create a character like that for a while, but instead of directly basing it on her, I created this character using my imagination. So, I don't think it's necessary to include her reference photo since they don't resemble each other at all, haha.
I don't know much about the lore of the characters, so I would like to know if you can give her some kind of magic or ability. 🙃

Esta vez les comparto mi entrada para el concurso de arte de @splinterlands
Hace unos dias vi una pelicula llamada Calabozos y Dragones, en la cual un personaje era una druida muy hermosa y hace un tiempo queria crear un personaje asi, para no basarme directamente en ella cree este personaje desde la imaginacion asi que considero que no es necesario poner su foto de referencia ya que no se parecen en nada jaja
No se mucho del lore de los personajes, me gustaria saber si ustedes pueden darle algun tipo de magia o habilidad 🙃
Sin mas que decir los dejo con el proceso de diseño 😄

Step 1.-
As I mentioned before, I wanted to create a druid. Initially, I imagined incorporating many elements of nature, but in the end, I decided to omit them because the focus would be on the character. I started sketching different poses, mainly focusing on the face. I wanted her to be beautiful but also have a somewhat intimidating aura. I also considered giving her a type of clothing armor, but since she comes from a natural background, I felt it wouldn't make much sense. So, I opted for a lighter outfit.

Paso 1.-
Como les contaba antes quería hacer una druida, al principio me imaginé agregar muchos elementos de la naturaleza pero al final decidí omitirlos ya que lo importante seria el personaje, empecé a hacer bocetos de postura y más que todo del rostro, quería que fuera hermosa pero a su vez con un aura algo intimidante. También quise ponerle una especie de armadura de ropa pero sentí que al provenir de un espacio natural no tendría mucho sentido, así que opte por un atuendo mas ligero.

Step 2.-
After a couple of hours of drawing, I was really happy with how it turned out. I enjoyed the process of creating the line art and applying the flat colors. However, I have reached a slightly more challenging point for me, which is coloring. 😅

Paso 2.-
Luego de un par de horas dibujando quedé muy contento de como había quedado, disfruté un montón haciendo el linear. Y a su vez apliqué los colores planos, pero ahora queda un punto más complicado para mi, el cual es colorear 😅

Step 3.-
My intention with this illustration was to create artwork similar to Arcane or League of Legends' splash art. However, as I progressed, I didn't quite achieve that style. Instead, unintentionally, I ended up creating something semi-realistic. 🤔
I simply let myself go with the flow and did what the illustration seemed to ask for. 😅

Paso 3.-
Mi intención con esta ilustración era de hacer un arte parecido al de Arcane o LoL, el Splash art, pero a medida que avanzaba no lo conseguí aunque sin querer logré hacer algo semi realista 🤔
Simplemente me deje llevar y hacer lo que la ilustración me pedía 😅

Step 4.-
I played around a lot with her skin tone since I find it a bit challenging. You'll see in the speedpaint how I mixed various shades until I found the one that convinced me the most.
Lastly, all that was left was to add subtle shading to give volume to the character. I also played with a simple yet eye-catching background. I added some small fairies to keep her company, and even though they aren't well-defined, they turned out quite adorable. 😊

Paso 4.-
Jugué mucho con su tono de piel ya que se me dificulta un poco, ya lo verán al final en el speedpaint como mezclé muchos tonos hasta encontrar el que mas me convenciera
Por ultimo ya solo me quedaba agregar una leve sombra para dar volumen al personaje y a su vez jugar con un fondo simple pero que resulte llamativo, también agregué unas pequeñas hadas para hacerle compañía que quedaron muy tiernas a pesar de no estar definidas 😊

This is the final result; I hope you liked it. I'm going to try creating some other characters with more details and extravagant armor. 😄
