Hello Aliens friends, how are you?👋🤠
This time, I share with you my entry for the Splinterlands Art Contest Week 267
I used the WATER CALLER card; I really liked its angelic vibe, and initially, I wanted to capture that mood in the illustration. However, the idea of making it look imposing and somewhat aggressive took over, as if ready to fight against anyone who stands in its way.

En esta ocasión les comparto mi participación para el Concurso de arte de Splinterlands
Utilicé la carta WATER CALLER, me gustó mucho su vibra angelical y al principio quería darle ese mood a la ilustración peroooo.. me ganó la idea de que se viera imponente y algo agresiva, como lista para ir a pelear contra cualquiera que se interponga en su camino.

As I mentioned, in the end, I decided to give our character an imposing touch and a attacking pose. At first, I wasn't sure how it would turn out, but I liked how it was evolving.

Como lo dije al final me decidí en darle un toque imponente nuestro personaje y en una pose de ataque, al principio no sabia si quedaría pero me gustó como iba evolucionando

For step two, I defined the anatomy more. I felt that if I wanted it to look imposing, its physique should be more voluptuous (an excuse to do it my way haha), but it seemed promising to me.

Para el paso dos definí mas la anatomía, sentí que si quería que se viera imponente su contextura debía ser mas voluptuosa (una excusa para hacerla a mi gusto jaja) pero me pareció que prometía mucho

Now that I had the character defined, all that was left was to highlight more details of the character like its face, hair, clothing, accessories, etc. Many things to give it a special touch. But above all, something that I find challenging is creating an atmosphere, and I wanted it to be somewhat dark but not overly saturated. For this, I used a rule of thirds, something I've been studying lately, and I think I resolved it the way I wanted.

Ya que tenia definido el personaje solo me quedaba resaltar mas detalles del personaje como su cara, cabello, ropa, accesorios, etc.. Muchas cosas para darle un toque especial
Pero sobre todo algo que se me dificulta es darle una atmosfera y quería que sea algo sombrío pero no saturado, para esto utilice una proporción de tercios, algo que he estado estudiando últimamente y creo que lo resolví de la forma en que quería

We're almost at the end, so I wanted to give the impression that it's in the midst of building up a very powerful attack, thus demonstrating its dominance over anyone. In the background, I also chose a contrasting sunset with reddish and dark colors that highlights the character very well.

Ya casi estamos en el final así que quería dar la impresión de que esta en plena formación de cargar un poder de ataque muy fuerte, demostrando así su imponencia ante cualquiera, de paso también en el fondo opté por un atardecer muy contrastante con colores rojizos y oscuros que hace resaltar muy bien al personaje

And this is the final result. I absolutely loved how it turned out. I don't know what else to say about the illustration 😅 I hope you liked it as much as I did.
