Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - Seven Wins Out Of Seven!

Time flies! Just completed the 106th brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

  • Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

  • Staying In Bronze Fray

For this brawl, I decided to stick to what I fought in the last fray, which was Fray 6, which was 3/2/2/1. I felt I was starting to find my grove and this fray is neither too difficult nor too easy for me.

Had 7 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.

  • We Got 2nd!

So for the final result, we were 2nd out of 9 guilds and got 808 Merits and around 17 SPS! What an awesome rebound from our lowly 6th in the last brawl!

Individually, I had 7 fights this time and I managed to win ALL 7 of them this time! Finished top within the guild!!! Yay!

Let's jump into the battles!

Battle 1 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Relenor Cleaver

Where do I begin?! This was so so so close! I won by 1 HP and Sea Monster was the last card standing. Having Earthquake in the ruleset was already tough to deal with, and my opponent had the dreaded Quora Towershead. I was no match for Quora Towershead but I saved by a combination of my ordering of cards and some luck.

Battle 2 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Isgald Vorst

My opponent came in ready with a tough lineup but surprisingly they fell flat against my Water lineup. Dumacke Orc was one of the surprise cards to make full use of the Equaliser ruleset and it was extremely strong. It held the front and allowed the backline to deal the damage. Rare debut for the card and rare MVP!

Battle 3 - WIN

Battle 4 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Captain Katie

I am loving this brawl so far! Another formidable opponent and both teams fielded Captain Katie and Iziar, but what a strong performance from my team! Extremely impressive with all the cards and it was Delwyn Dragonscale's boost that made all the difference in fights against cards that have Void ability.

Battle 5 - WIN

Opponent fled! Lol!

Battle 6 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: None

In case you are wondering why I am fielding Sniping Narwhal as the tank, it was actually a mistake! I clicked wrongly and with the time ticking down, I just had to go for the battle! Fortunately, the mistake wasn't costly and my damage output was enough to secure this win without much trouble. What a big sigh of relief!

Battle 7 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: None

After so many intense battles, this was more like a cool down fight. Clearly, my opponent didn't field up to 58 mana for this battle. Almost like a free win but I still had to go through the rounds. Chaos Dragon was the strongest card on the board so it gets the MVP in this case.

So that sums up my 7 battles for this brawl! 100% win rate, a job well done in my view! Extremely delighted!
