Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - Witch Of Warwick Produced A Stunning Performance!

Time flies! Just completed the 101st brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

  • Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

  • Staying In Bronze Fray

For this brawl, I decided to stick to what I fought in the last fray, which was Fray 6, which was 3/2/2/1. I felt I was starting to find my grove and this fray is neither too difficult nor too easy for me.

Had 3 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.

  • We Got 3rd!

So for the final result, we were 3rd out of 10 guilds and got 431 Merits and around 15 SPS! Finally back to podium! Decent result this time after a disappointment in the last round.

Individually, I had 3 fights this time and I won all 3 of them this time! Finished 4th within the guild!!!

Battle 1 - WIN

Opponent fled! Lol!

Battle 2 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Witch Of Warwick

I literally had to re-watch this battle a few times! OMG, just WOW WOW WOW! You have got to watch this battle.

It was a 54 mana battle but with such a restrictive ruleset, this was the best combination that I had. When I saw that the opponent had Immortalis, I knew I was in deep trouble. Fortunately, I had Delwyn Dragonscale which might or might not help.

As the rounds went by, all my cards went down one by one, and I was very certain I was going to lose. It was Round 4. I was left with Witch Of Warwick and my opponent still had the full deck.

And Witch Of Warwick combined Life Leech and Bloodlust to take out my opponent's lineup!!! This must be her best impressive battle for me to date!

Battle 3 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Gorth and Chimney Wallstop

This was a classic battle where all the strategies had to be customised to the Rebirth ruleset. This means using more Gladius cards because Bloodlust opportunities mathematically doubled, etc. It was also quite fun to watch Weapons Training in play, as well as Redemption being activated twice. Hehe!

So that sums up my 3 battles for this brawl! 100% win rate, a clean sweep! Hooray!
