General sale of Chaos Legion Packs will be in full swing in just hours (Today's Date: 1/17/2022). This means the need for Vouchers for purchased packs will be no more. Instead Vouchers will be needed for those who like to utilize the bonus pack feature. Bonus packs are given for bulk purchases of Chaos Legion Boosters at three different levels (100/500/2000+ pack purchases). Many have been waiting for this moment with great excitement as it allows them to purchase Chaos Legion packs for just 4 USD each. Many are speculating that this excitement will lead to heaps of FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) which will cause a sell out of Chaos Legion Boosters (Packs) within 24-48 hours. Others think the supply of millions of Packs won't sell out for months. I'm curious to what you think and thus the reason for this giveaway. In the comment section below I will list four possible outcomes. If you wish to participate in this giveaway all you need to do is upvote the comment in which you think will be the outcome of sales for Chaos Legion packs within the first 24 hours of General Sale being in full swing. I'm feeling with the amount of players/vouchers and guilds waiting for this, this would be it. But will definitely not be sold out. Our player base are majority not that rich.

I'm saying <1M... and here's my reasoning:

Majority of the (really) big spenders are OG players that had a lot of vouchers airdropped to them.

New players with big budgets (and not enough vouchers) went ahead and bought vouchers at ridiculous prices ANYWAY.

Everyone else with a few loose vouchers, that still intended to buy, would have done so before the previous airdrop ended (makes no sense to hold on to vouchers now that they've plummeted in value and then buy just 10 packs in general sale).

So that leaves us with just the new(ish) players without huge budgets for the extra vouchers.

... OK, and maybe a few older players and players with semi-large budget with 10s of vouchers looking to take advantage of the bonusses offered by vouchers.

I doubt that's enough to crack 1M packs in 24 hours though.

Having said all that: I DO believe that there a tons of players ready to buy packs as and when they get some 'free crypto' (be it from blogging on hive, winning tourneys, renting cards... whatever).. and will buy 1-2 packs, 5 packs when they hit a bigger payout, and maybe another handful the week after, and so on and so on until all the packs are gone... and this INCLUDES the whales buying 20 packs now, 50 packs another day etc. etc.

So yeah... we WILL see a very quick sell out of CL... but I'm thinking weeks & months to reach that point.

Of course I COULD be WAY wrong in my summation of the demand... in which case I lose this guessing game, but look forward to the jump in prices for the cards/rentals again... Win-Win for me ;-)

HOLY SHIT! Was I wrong or was I VERY wrong?
My wife was waiting more than an hour to get her credits to buy a handful of packs, so I popped on to discord to see what was up:

Apparently the top 200 credit holders (before sale even started) were holding enough credits for 1.5M packs on their own... WOW!!!

EVERYONE is gonna know about SL (and indirectly a lot of them about HIVE)... This can only mean good things for everyone already in on the SL vibe.

I hear you, my transfer took over an hour as well. I was too worried to make any purchases during that time so I still haven't made my purchase yet. I got another transfer to put in first. I need to be more prepared and not procrasinate so much.
