Splinterlands: How I found out about splinterlands and points that I consider important before starting. [Esp/Eng]

¡Buenas! Ha salido el nuevo social media challenge y no quería perderme la oportunidad de apuntarme a participar porque tiene preguntas interesantes que podría animar a futuros jugadores a sumarse a la maravilla de #splinterlands.

Well, the new social media challenge is out and I didn't want to miss the opportunity to sign up to participate because it has interesting questions that might encourage future players to join the #splinterlands awesomeness.

No recuerdo muy bien en que fecha me entere que existía un juego llamado Splinterlands, pero si recuerdo el lugar donde lo conocí y fue por medio de una comunidad llamada De Centavos a Millones (DCAM), seguramente ese nombre les parecerá repetitivo para quienes conocen mi llegada a Hive, pero, crédito a quien lo merece. Fue por medio de esa comunidad que organizo una especie de clase donde nos presentaba Splinterlands como un juego de Blockchain que se encontraba alojado aquí en Hive. En esa clase nos hablaron del token $DEC, como comprarlo por medio de los mercados internos y las distintas formas que existían para adquirir el Libro de Hechizos para iniciar la aventura. También nos enseñaron los puntos a tener en cuenta a la hora de armar el mazo para ir a la batalla.

Tarde un poco en unirme a Splinterlands, porque estaba juntando su valor que actualmente siguen siendo 10 US, recuerdo que en esa oportunidad por unirme con el enlace de referido de la comunidad logre obtener 500 créditos que me sirvieron para rentar cartas, aunque a principio no era necesario porque las que nos daba el libro de hechizos de forma predeterminada ya eran lo bastante fuerte para el nivel en que me encontraba el cual era Bronce. Creo que se me olvido mencionar que eso fue hace 2 años aproximadamente.

I do not remember very well when I found out that there was a game called Splinterlands, but I do remember the place where I met him and it was through a community called From Cents to Millions (DCAM), surely that name will seem repetitive for those who know my arrival to Hive, but, credit where credit is due. It was through that community that I organized a kind of class where I introduced us to Splinterlands as a Blockchain game that was hosted here at Hive. In that class they told us about the $DEC token, how to buy it through the internal marketplaces and the different ways that existed to acquire the Spellbook to start the adventure. They also taught us the points to keep in mind when putting together the deck to go into battle.

It took me a while to join Splinterlands, because I was gathering its value, which currently is still 10 US, I remember that in that opportunity for joining with the referral link of the community I managed to get 500 credits that helped me to rent cards, although at the beginning it was not necessary because the ones that the Spellbook gave us by default were already strong enough for the level I was in, which was Bronze. I think I forgot to mention that this was about 2 years ago.

Durante mis primeros meses en splinterlands me fue bastante bien porque alcance a obtener algunas cartas en los cofres y el dato más interesante es que pude reunir la cantidad de $DEC que representaba el valor de 10 USD, y hasta un poco más, eso quiere decir que recupere mi inversión y saque mi ganancia. También obtuve un par de cartas de los cofres. También por esas fechas recuerdo que compre como dos o tres cartas que me parecieron interesantes de tener en posesión y hasta la fecha no me he arrepentido de haber realizado esa inversión.

Recuerdo que de Febrero a Marzo de 2022, llegue a una comunidad que estaba en su nacimiento y se encontraban usuarios nuevos interesados en invertir en el juego. Es así como nace la necesidad de crear mi propia de guía de Splinterlands donde procure explicar lo más detallado posible cada aspecto que consideré importante. Dicha guía la puedes ir a ver dando clic aquí, pero antes debo advertir que es algo vieja por lo tanto requiere una actualización por los nuevos cambios que han surgido en los últimos meses, pero, sigue conservando puntos importantes que son esenciales para iniciar. En ella explico algunos puntos a considerar antes de proceder a rentar y que es necesario que los revises para que puedas adquirir las cartas al mejor precio del mercado o de la forma correcta.

During my first months in splinterlands I did quite well because I managed to get some cards in the chests and the most interesting fact is that I was able to collect the amount of $DEC which represented the value of 10 USD, and even a little more, that means that I recovered my investment and made my profit. I also got a couple of cards from the chests. Also around that time I remember that I bought about two or three cards that I thought were interesting to have in my possession and to date I have not regretted making that investment.

I remember that from February to March 2022, I arrived to a community that was in its birth and there were new users interested in investing in the game. Me parece que las dos guías que te coloque arriba te pueden servir un poco, claro, con la primera tienes que tomar solo la parte de como comprar el libro y como iniciar a jugar, que no ha cambiado mucho porque actualmente las recompensas si ya han cambiado bastante. La guía para rentar también es muy buena, créeme, te ahorraras mucho tiempo con ese método.

Considero que uno de los puntos que debes tener muy claro es que la inversión que vas a realizar quizas no la recuperes tan pronto porque aquí influyen muchos factores y en cierta forma debes tener el compromiso de ver o indagar en que punto vas a invertir dentro del juego. Porque puedes ser de los que compran algunos activos para luego generar ganancias pasivas, aunque, básicamente todo el juego es esto. Ganancias pasivas. Pero, eso si, tienes muchas formas de generar ingresos y una de ellas es participando en los torneos realizados dentro de splinterlands o los que se realizan en algunas comunidades dentro de su Discord.

I think that one of the points that you must be very clear about is that the investment you are going to make may not be recovered so soon because many factors influence here and in a way you must have the commitment to see or investigate at what point you are going to invest in the game. But, yes, you have many ways to generate income and one of them is participating in tournaments held within splinterlands or those that are made in some communities within your Discord.

Me parece que me he inspirado un poco con esto de Splinterlands, pero, como no? a pesar de no dedicar tanto tiempo actualmente por temas de conexión, sigue siendo una forma divertida de compartir con tus amigos por medio de batallas "amistosas" y para agregar picante, apostando a quien gana. No solo esto. Estoy muy feliz porque también he podido ir incrementando mi colección de cartas y reciente compre mi primer pack de la nueva edición de Splinterlands llamada Rebellion y estoy muy feliz de poder estar presente desde el inicio de esta nueva etapa.

I seem to have been a bit inspired by this Splinterlands thing, but, of course, even though I don't spend so much time these days due to connection issues, it's still a fun way to share with your friends through "friendly" battles and to add spice, betting on who wins. Not only this. I am very happy because I have also been able to increase my card collection and I recently bought my first pack of the new edition of Splinterlands called Rebellion and I am very happy to be able to be present from the beginning of this new stage.

Ya para finalizar este emocionante post, solo me queda agradecer a mis amigos @morenow, @cpol, @zonadigital21, @bulkathos y a otras personas que me han ayudado a superar un poco mis expectativas dentro del juego. Claro, mi proyección a corto plazo es llegar a plata para luego subir a Oro para competir con algunos grandes, pero para esto debo esperar a que se solucione lo de mi internet para así volver a la época donde podía pasar toda una mañana jugando Splinterlands.

To end this exciting post, I can only thank my friends @morenow, @cpol, @zonadigital21, @bulkathos and other people who have helped me to exceed my expectations in the game. Of course, my short term projection is to reach silver and then go up to gold to compete with some big players, but for this I have to wait for my internet to be fixed so I can go back to the time where I could spend a whole morning playing Splinterlands.
