Agor Longtail Fanart || Splinterlands social media Challenge. [Esp/Eng]

Hello friends, welcome to a new post, how are you doing? I hope very well :).

Following a little bit this line of fire characters, I make a new Fanart for the Splinterlands community contest. And so, I chose Agor Longtail as my inspiration for this new installment.

The mountains of Dragon's Nest soar skyward, their peaks tearing at the bellies of passing clouds. Many species of dragons have made their home here among the crags and ledges. They live in relative harmony, far from the disturbances of the two-legged creatures that populate most of Draykh-Nahka. However, there is one that is different. She makes her home deep in the subway corridors of the mountain range. Other dragons avoid her, and few will speak her name. However, the draconids know her well and have worshipped her for as long as they can remember.

The concept is simple, I like dragons a lot, this one has a style where it implements a couple of thick lines as shadows, I thought it was amazing to portray that in my own way. I don't know much of what we commonly see in dragons, although this one adds a more aggressive and very powerful physical appearance with those spikes and horns that it has. I did this drawing using the watercolor technique on cardboard.

Without much more to say, I leave you here with the drawing process:

First I made a sketch. I drew this one with a sideways position. I wanted to enlarge its size as the original was fine, but it looked like a small dragon, I wanted to make it look more adult.

The next thing I did, was to add the base colors, the skin color of this one would be a dark reddish orange tone, with its other areas in a light gray, and the rock, where the dragon rests, in an ochre color.

Here I started to add the shadows and details of the red skin of the dragon. I just used a combination of red and a little bit of mint and another mix of this same red but with dark orange, and I was tracing the shadows.

Then the shadows of the gray skin. For this I just used black color and diluted it with water to make it much lighter.

Then add the details of the rock. I used the ochre color but in a slightly purer solution to make it darker. And I also painted the horns and claws, using some black and brown and light brown, mixing and creating shades. I did the same with the fireball coming out of his mouth, using yellow and red.

Then I added a background. I thought of making a kind of hellish background, with the black rocks at the bottom of it, and the environment with a red color, I feel it looked pretty good.

And finally I used the outlining markers and started to outline the pencil lines to outline the drawing. I used the 0.1, 0.3, 0.5 and 0.8 tips.

Hola amigos, bienvenidos a un nuevo post! ¿Que tal todo, cómo están? Espero que muy bien :).

Siguiendo un poco esta línea de personajes de fuego, hago un nuevo Fanart para el concurso de la comunidad de Splinterlands. Y es así, elegí a Agor Longtail como mi inspiración para esta nueva entrega.

Las montañas de Nido del Dragón se elevan hacia el cielo, sus picos desgarran las barrigas de las nubes que pasan. Muchas especies de dragones han hecho su hogar aquí entre los riscos y salientes. Viven en relativa armonía, lejos de las molestias de las criaturas de dos patas que pueblan la mayor parte de Draykh-Nahka. Sin embargo, hay uno que es diferente. Ella hace su hogar en lo profundo de los pasillos subterráneos de la cordillera. Otros dragones la evitan, y pocos pronunciarán su nombre. Sin embargo, los dracónidos la conocen bien y la han adorado desde que tienen memoria.

El concepto es sencillo, a mí me gustan mucho los dragones, este tiene un estilo dónde implementa un par de líneas gruesas como sombras, me pareció increíble retratar eso a mi manera. No sé sale mucho de lo que comúnmente vemos en dragones, aunque a este se le agrega una apariencia física más agresiva y muy poderosa con esas púas y cuernos que tiene. Este dibujo lo hice usando la técnica de acuarela sobre cartulina.

Sin mucho más que decir, los dejo aquí con el proceso del dibujo:

Primero realice un boceto. A este lo dibujé con una posición de lado. Quise agrandar su tamaño ya que el original estaba bien, pero se veía como un dragón pequeño, quise hacerlo parecer más adulto.

Lo siguiente que hice, fue agregar los colores base, el color de la piel de este sería de un tono naranja oscuro rojizo, con sus otras zonas en un gris claro, y la roca, donde se apoya el dragón, de color ocre.

Aquí empecé a agregar las sombras y detalles de la piel roja del dragón. Solo use una combinación de rojo y un poquito de majenta y otra mezcla de este mismo rojo pero con naranja oscuro, y fui trazando las sombras.

Luego las sombras de la piel gris. Para esto solo utilice color negro y lo dilui con agua para que fuera mucho más claro.

Luego agregue los detalles de la roca. Use el color ocre pero en una solución un poco más pura para que fuese más oscuro. Y también pinte los cuernos y las garras, usando un poco de color negro y marrón y marrón claro, mezclando y creando matices. Igual hice la bola de fuego que sale de su boca, usando color amarillo y rojo.

Luego agregue un fondo. Pensé en hacer un tipo de fondo así como infernal, con las rocas negras al fondo de este, y el ambiente con un color rojo, siento que le quedo bastante bien

Y por último use los marcadores para delinear y empecé a remarcar las lineas del lápiz para delinear el dibujo. Use las puntas 0.1, 0.3, 0.5 y 0.8.
