Dallan Fanart || Splinterlands Art Contest Week 262. (ENG/ESP)

Today I'd like to share with you a painting that I'm going to submit to the Splinterlands weekly community contest.
For the occasion, I decided to use the character Dallan as inspiration. I really like this character because he gives off a mysterious vibe, that and some elements of his body and clothing make him a bit charming, like his robotic arm with the metal weapon and the energy charge he makes with his other arm. To make this drawing I used colored markers as drawing material, mainly black, blue, green and especially red. Here below you can see the drawing process, I hope you like it.
Procedure:
I start by making a sketch. I used an HB pencil for this. I used a pose for the character where he is looking slightly to the side and his hand is extended forward holding the energy charge. His head is shown slightly more forward, with both eyes visible, keeping a bit of mystery in his gaze and expression.
Then I start using the green pen to mark a little bit the outline of the energy charge, which has a funny shape with a noticeable element, which are the faces inside like trapped souls or deadly energy, I like to relate it like that haha. And after creating the outline, I created lines moving clockwise until I filled in the area quite a bit. Then, with the brown marker, I added color to the left hand glove. I used etching throughout the design, it's a technique I enjoyed practicing with this design.
I used the orange marker to draw the skulls and the molars on the clothing. I used the blue marker to draw the hood and used the black marker for the metallic part under the head, which accentuated the shadows on the right side much more, filling those areas almost completely with ink q For the beard I also used black, but with lighter areas to give it more clarity and not so many shadows. Then I drew his face with a yellow marker, shaded some parts of his face with an orange marker and drew his eyes with a yellow gel pen.
Now for the left side of the suit, I used purple and to enhance that color a bit, I used the blue gel pen. For the rest of the suit, I used the red and pink gel pen, using a combination of the two to create the purple color.
Here I would complete the construction of the other part of the top of the dress, giving it a more orange tone by filling it almost entirely with the same color. I then used the orange color to paint the skulls that I had as a belt. I used blue, red and black to finish painting what was missing clothes. With blue, brown and black markers I finished painting his robotic arm.
The drawing, up to this point I didn't like it, almost nothing haha, I had an idea of where I shouldn't outline, but seeing how the thing was going I knew it wouldn't look good, so I took the fine tip markers and started to outline, I mainly used the number 05 and 08 markers that I used on the fly to create less straight lines and thicker in some places. With the brush marker I filled in a little faster some lines or spaces that would have been completely black.
Now almost to finish, from the center of the energy ball, I drew some lines going outward, which would be the background of the drawing. I just used a black marker and filled them in one by one. For this part I just used my pulse, and in general for the whole drawing, it would feel more natural.
And to finish, I make a kind of peak in each bar of thick lines in a counterclockwise direction, each time, bending them a little bit more sideways to make a spiral effect. And then I started to weave with the red color starting from the right side of this row of bars increasing the contrast until the other side where it would degrade a little to make the red color lighter.

Hola amigos, bienvenidos a un nuevo post, ¡espero que se encuentren bien y tengan un gran día!
Hoy me gustaría compartir con vosotros un cuadro que voy a presentar al concurso semanal de la comunidad de Splinterlands.
Para la ocasión, decidí usar al personaje Dallan como inspiración. Me gusta mucho este personaje porque desprende una vibra misteriosa, eso y algunos elementos de su cuerpo y vestimenta lo hacen un poco encantador, como su brazo robótico con el arma de metal y la carga de energía que hace con su otro brazo. Para hacer este dibujo utilicé rotuladores de colores como material de dibujo, principalmente negro, azul, verde y sobre todo rojo. Aqui abajo podeis ver el proceso de dibujo, espero que os guste.
Procedimiento:
Empiezo haciendo un boceto. Para ello utilicé un lápiz HB. Utilicé una pose para el personaje en la que mira ligeramente hacia un lado y su mano se extiende hacia delante sosteniendo la carga de energía. Su cabeza se muestra un poco más adelantada, con ambos ojos visibles, manteniendo un poco de misterio en su mirada y expresión.
Luego empiezo a usar el bolígrafo verde para marcar un poco el contorno de la carga de energía, que tiene una forma graciosa con un elemento notable, que son las caras de adentro como almas atrapadas o energía mortal, me gusta relacionarlo así jaja. Y después de crear el contorno, creé líneas que se movían en el sentido de las agujas del reloj hasta rellenar bastante la zona. Luego, con el rotulador marrón, añadí color al guante de la mano izquierda. Utilicé aguafuerte en todo el diseño, es una técnica que me gustó practicar con este diseño.
Utilicé el rotulador naranja para dibujar las calaveras y las muelas que llevaba en la ropa. Utilicé el rotulador azul para dibujarle la capucha y utilicé el rotulador negro para la parte metálica de debajo de la cabeza, que acentuaba mucho más las sombras del lado derecho, rellenando esas zonas casi por completo de tinta q Para la barba también utilicé negro, pero con zonas más claras para darle más claridad y no tantas sombras. Luego dibujé su cara con un rotulador amarillo, sombreé algunas partes de su cara con un rotulador naranja y dibujé sus ojos con un rotulador de gel amarillo.
Ahora para el lado izquierdo del traje, utilicé morado y para realzar un poco ese color, utilicé el rotulador de gel azul. Para el resto del traje, utilicé el rotulador de gel rojo y rosa, usando una combinación de los dos para crear el color morado.
Aquí completaría la construcción de la otra parte de la parte superior del vestido, dándole un tono más anaranjado rellenándolo casi en su totalidad con el mismo color. Luego utilicé el color naranja para pintar las calaveras que tenía como cinturón. Utilicé azul, rojo y negro para terminar de pintar lo que le faltaba de ropa. Con rotuladores azul, marrón y negro terminé de pintar su brazo robótico.
El dibujo, hasta este punto no me gustaba, casi nada jaja, tenía una idea de donde no debía contornear, pero viendo como iba la cosa sabía que no quedaría bien, así que cogí los rotuladores de punta fina y empecé a contornear, utilicé principalmente los rotuladores del número 05 y 08 que utilicé sobre la marcha para crear líneas menos rectas y más gruesas en algunos sitios. Con el rotulador pincel rellené un poco más rápido algunas líneas o espacios que hubieran quedado completamente negros.
Ahora casi para terminar, desde el centro de la bola de energía, marque unas líneas que fueran hacia afuera, las cuales serían el fondo del dibujo. Solo usé un marcador negro y las fui llenando una por una. Para esta parte solo usé mi pulso, y en general para todo el dibujo, lo sentiría más natural.
Y para terminar, hago una especie de pico en cada barra de líneas gruesas en dirección contraria a las manecillas del reloj, cada vez, doblando las un poquito más de lado para hacer un efecto de espiral. Y después empecé a hacer tramas con el color rojo partiendo desde el lado derecho de esta fila de barras aumentando el contrate hasta el otro lado donde se degradaria un poco hasta hacer más claro el color rojo.
